ravishingravi Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 With every win you give hope of revival. World cricket needs a strong WI team. Without Gayle, Edwards, Bravo, Taylor and Benn you have recorded a memorable win.
cowboysfan Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 they need to make some changes to their team.I hope they bring in Barath in for smith.
King Tendulkar Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Great win for windies, great if they became competitive. But beating minnows like pakistan and bangladesh dont prove anything. Great game though, test cricket is great
zaheer Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 yep more Respect to Sammy!! The most ridiculed captain to stand up and be counted!! :hatsoff:
SachDan Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Well done Windies  It was a mixture of inept pak batting and some good bowling from West Indies.
vvvslaxman Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Amazing spirit shown by Windies. I particularly liked lion-hearted bowling by Rampaul who was very unlucky not to get more than 5 wickets.
kubrickian Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Sammy getting 5 wickets. This is a new low even for Pakistan team.
Ultimate_Game Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Congratulations Windies!!! With Gayle in the team replacing Devon Smith and players like Dwayne Bravo, Edwards and Taylor in the squad they have a pretty decent team, especially with the likes of Bishoo, Rampaul and Lendl Simmons stepping up to the plate. They are missing a decent wk batsman and if they find one they should be challenging to get into the Top 5 Test teams.
jairamesh Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 well done to West Indies "A" team, :two_thumbs_up: plenty of potential players to pick for the first team against India test series next month.
jairamesh Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 World's Best Spinner: Ajmal World's Best Swing Bowler: Riaz World's Best Yorker: Umar Gul World's Best Youngest Batsman: Chota Khatmal World's Best Spinning Allrounder: Hafeez White-wash of WI tour guaranteed. :hmmm: Reality check plz
Blueraphael Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 As much fun as it is to ridicule an absolute spineless batting display by our friends from across the border, the WI did seem to bowl well. They bowled a very good line and were constantly at it. Didn't allow the Pak batsmen to get away with it. However, they do need to improve their batting. They are absolutely clueless against the spinners.
jairamesh Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 For all the talent of Pak's paceman, here is a fact: Pak 2nd innings wickets were all taken by Windies paceman. Whilst Pakistan had to rely on Chubbymal, Rehman, and Chameez, all spinners. Infact between Gul and Riaz, they only took 2 wickets for nearly over 40 overs.

Pak batting was clueless against everything spin, pace, swing and bounce. They are worse than the likes of Ashraful and Kayes.
