kubrickian Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Delhi doesnt deserve such a crappy IPL side. Their Ranji team is one of the best sides. Gambhir, Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Nehra, Amit Mishra, Shikar Dhawan, Sangwan, Rajat Bhatia, Umesh Yadav can make a decent ODI side on their own. Too bad most of the players went to other IPL teams.
urbestfriend Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 CSK has done it 4 years in a row - finishing in top 4' date=' that is consistence. MI has done it 2 years in a row, so has RCB. There in lies the difference.[/quote'] 3 for RCB
vvvslaxman Posted May 24, 2011 Author Posted May 24, 2011 :(( VVS :icflove: Fault lies with DD management. This is one scenario we kinda predicted right at the start of the IPL. It was going to be an one man army from the get go. It was until Viru left. They let far too many good players go.
mishra Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Does it really matter. Next season we will be back in top 4. Injuries played major role.
punjabi_khota Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 :csk: has been the best side of the IPL followed by :mi: loud@... RR and DC have won the trophy...Why is MI the second best side then ? :hysterical: Thats like saying NZ or Eng has been the second best side after OZ in the WCs :hysterical::hysterical:
gaurav92 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 CSK 16,17,14,18 = 65 MI 14,11,20,18 = 63 RR 22,13,12,13 = 60 DD 15, 20, 14, 9 = 58 RCB 8, 16, 14, 19 = 57 KXI 20, 14, 8, 14 = 56 KKR 13, 7, 14, 16 = 50 DC 4,14,16,12 = 46 DC comes up at the bottom in terms of total points. loud@... phaedrus Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 ^^ +1. by the end of the auctions i had the feeling Kochi and Delhi would be fighting for the last place. Kochi did a bit better, but not by much. With Delhi players doing so well for other franchisees, makes you wonder what could have been
