Get married against wishes of both families. Have to struggle in life to earn a living and make a life. Cute, realistic love story. I didn't like the songs. Most of the songs had a very high pitched voice make over for Rani.

It is a remake of the Tamil film, Alaipayuthey and Telugu movie Sakhi directed by Mani Ratnam which also had its music by A. R. Rahman. link yes it was copy of a south movie. :hmmm: songs ki vajah see loog issh movie ko jaante haain.:--D

Liked him a bit in Company, but after that he was unbearable.

I thought it was a good piece, differnt from all..pasand apni apni but again its the timing too, for eg, I wouldn't enjoy movies like Angoor or khattha meetha the way likd them as a kid and Shalimar was one of them

coffee_rules Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 udaan movie is for few people onlyz. Ronit Roy in that movie is very well characterized and he has acted superbly as well. I wish they make more such movies instead of blockbusters - Ready, Raone etc
