don_corleone840 Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 1 LAKHsYA : Frankly speaking, it is probably greatest war movie ever been made in india but still it was big flop in box office. 2 Swades: It has to be one of the finest movie of SRK.Amazing music but still it was flop. 3 The legend of bhagat singh : Finest movie ever made on bhagat singh. 4 Ek haseena thi : one of the finest act by an indian actress 5 Shaurya : It was remake of "A few good man " soo possibly deserved much appriciation.
Sidhoni Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Lakshya was a really nice movie, but was it a big flop? :hmmm:
akshayxyz Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Agree with 1,2,5 ( though Lakshya was not big flop IMO). Other two were average IMO, havent watched 3rd (bhagat singh) though.
Sir john Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 lakhshay was for younger generation so it was a big flopp. it has no emotional touch like other war movies .
Bublu Bhuyan Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 How about that remake of Sholay by Ram Gopal Verma .... AAG :--D
akshayxyz Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 ^ true, most underrated in terms of % increase in terms of box office collection it could have had - had even single more person would have watched it.
Sachin=GOD Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Aag was the first (and last) movie in bollywood history to have been taken off theaters even before the first week was over :hysterical:
Bublu Bhuyan Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Aag was the first (and last) movie in bollywood history to have been taken off theaters even before the first week was over :hysterical: I got the DVD some years ago for about 50 bucks, and I couldn't even complete watching the whole movie.
Mariyam Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Depends on what the OP means by under-rated. For me the movie "Mohabbatein" was the most under valued and under appreciated movie of the last decade. It had just about everything. Innocent love stories, tragedy, battle of tradition & change. Superb dialogues + adorable music. Great acting by SRK and AB. Total heart warming entertainer. For me, its at par with DDLJ and KKHH. Love this scene: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ges2hMh8v3Q]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ges2hMh8v3Q[/ame] This was SRK's best look/get up from any of his movies. The glasses, the hair style , the dialogue delivery, the style of wearing his sweater. Even Jugal Hansraj looked very cute in this movie. Absolutely love this movie.
Bublu Bhuyan Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Here's Raju Srivastava giving us a trailer of AAG 9gs0X2XIyoQ :haha::hysterical:
maniac Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Ek Chaalis ki Last Local-Awesome Thriller in the Guy Ritchie/Tarantino mould RGV'S Bhooth-One of the better Bollywood Horror Flicks Gangajal Bluffmaster-I know it was a copy of a couple of Hollywood films but still it was slickly made film Being Cyrus Black Friday-I know it is highly rated but is often overlooked due to the glossy formula films when we talk about bollywood Gandhi My Father-very underrated performance by Akshaye Khanna
akshayxyz Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 I got the DVD some years ago for about 50 bucks' date=' and I couldn't even complete watching the whole movie.[/quote'] Even I rented the DVD to see how bad it can be..I don't think I spent more than 5-10 minutes. My personal previous record was - "Out of Control", we walked out of the cinema-hall in not more than 15 minutes.
akshayxyz Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Here's Raju Srivastava giving us a trailer of AAG 9gs0X2XIyoQ[/] :haha::hysterical: :hatsoff: Most talented stand-up comedian we ever had. And the only one who is capable to create laughter from very simple situations from daily life. All others just try jokes & scripted stuff with cheap double meaning dialogues.

Rajiv Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 I'll go bit older Shalimar - Diamond Heist Lamhe - AK and Sridevi, what beautiful songs more to follow....
punjabi_khota Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Khosla ka ghosla. I know it kinda got some fame, but if had gotten 100x the fame it has, it would still be under-rated. The movie is one for the eternity.
Aaku Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Socha na tha (?). That abhay deol, ayesha takia movie! Not the 'most underrated' or anything, but sucha sweeeet movie with a nice story..went absolutely unnoticed :dontknow:
Sidhoni Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Udaan - a brilliant movie, a simply outstanding one, and did not get the fame it deserved.
