All forms of cricket are pretty much similar. T20 gives everything in just 3 hours, who has time to watch test match these days, just check scores once in a while. and I bet at least 50% of the people who say test is the best don't even watch it fully, who could sit all 5 days and watch 7 hours of cricket? Come on look at soccer so much fun in just 90 minutes, T20 is gonna make cricket even popular. Its the one for future. T20 :yay: :isalute:

What are the chances of a cricketer succeeding in T20 vs Test Cricket ?

I wont go into this debate. I love test matches and I can watch test whole 5 days if i get time. I dont care if T20 happens or not, but I am talking here from players' point of view. You cannot make every player playing test cricket and every player cannot play T20 too. It is about ability. T20 needs different kind of skills in comparison to Test. It also depends on what kind of talent a player has. Some players are technically good who can do well in tests and some are aggressive and powerful which suit T20 cricket. This has always been the case with players. Every player cannot play tests, but cricketer percentage succeeding in T20 is higher than Test because of longevity and technical aspects. That is why we only get less percentage of good to great test players.

In a marriage one looks at various aspects, whether he has a strong family background (good technique), sound knowledge, educational qualifications (good understanding of the game), or if he is a businessman, he possesses some good skills that of a businessman (Not all that good understanding, but still has a good attitude and approach towards the game). In a marriage, one also looks at the money factor. Whether the person is rich, wealthy enough to keep the family in good condition (Here in Cricket, money = runs, it means that the batsmen has some runs under his belt in the domestic circuit, plus the fact that he will be able to maintain the consistency in the future, which means he is trustworthy as a player in crisis). Therefore, traditional marriage can be safely related to Test Cricket. On the flip side, Tontee Tontee Kirkut is nothing but legalized Prostitution, here neither the family background is seen, nor the educational qualifications. It doesn't matter if he doesn't have the money to keep his family, the prostitutes are just concerned with their Fee(One good innings). The person just sees the satisfaction/utility that can be derived out of the prostitute (how big are the assets, and will they be good enough for the day?). This can be related to T20 as the assets are the six hitting abilities of Cricketers who are one match players. They are on and off the next day. So how can one even think of comparing a beautiful traditional marriage with the shambolic legalized prostitution? Its an incarnate insult to the whole Indian fraternity. :headshake:

Crap players are also there to play. They also work hard on their game and every one cannot be as good as SRT or RD. They get their share of cricket through these tournaments. and I am not in favor of T20s organized by ICC. People blame BCCI and IPL, but they also need to see it is ICC who started this and T20 matches in every tour has been played between countries and also a T20 championship in every 2 years. Every nation also has its T20 league. It is just IPL is a bigger league. We also need to think why Indian domestic players needed IPL because of lack of importance given to domestic cricket. We had T20 tournament in India before IPL, but no one gave a a sh*t to it, but IPL gave domestic players a ray of hope where their talent is recognized, some are good and some are limited in talent, but that is not the point for IPL. IPL gave these players to earn and uncapped players earning is also limited. Their salaries are fixed too, so we cannot say that IPL is ruining them, but IPL is encouraging them to do well in domestic cricket so that they are picked for the national team so that they come to the auction and also players are not picked solely on IPL performances. Selectors know where these IPL performances stand in the selection process. There are always two sides of a coin, positive and negative. We need to take the positive out of it and work on the negatives.
