The likes of VVS, RD and MSD can adjust to international cricket without playing a practice match at times. But to expect the likes of Vijay, Mukund, Kohli to comein and start doing well in tests without those practice matches is a criminal joke. The 5 match ODI series that we played in WI was unnecessary but was perhaps a gesture by BCCI for the vote of WICB on ICC.

Honestly you need practice match to get used to conditions no matter how weak the opposition is. In this case our team combination is a brand new one. All the more reason we should have had atleast one practice game.
