Ishant has turned the corner-He is now the real deal

Ishant is the man now. Used to be skinny young kid. But you can see he has developed in to man, physically has matured, looks bigger and filled out. Definitley stronger. Bowled quick in IPL. Now here bowling 85 mph to 90 mph which is more then enough pace, especially with his height. Was quick and really threatning. Bowled superbly today with no luck, looked a genuine test match threatning bowler. Matured so much. Also got the right coach in Fletcher. As is obseesed with pace and will certainly not be telling Ishant to slow it down. He is going to have awesome 2011 on pitches which will aid fast men like him. Doing well here , then will cause havoc in England and then in Aus. Ishant has turned the corner and is now genuine quality fast bowler. He will show his worth this year

He bowled with serious menace yesterday as well. Was awesome, until he lost the radar at end of spell. Just over last 3 months , there is something different in his bowling. Physically and mentally has become a man.

I am keeping my fingers crossed. He's still not consistent enough for my liking. He wasted the new ball y'day when he was down the leg side most of the time. If he can start bowling consistently well then he would be one of the better bowlers going around. Let's see how he does against WI and against Eng later this year before judging him.

His spell today was extremely promising. I would wait until the end of the England series before determining whether he has well and truly turned the corner.

Bowling well but this is just one match. He was very poor in SA.The last match we had them on the ropes and a very out of form Boucher came into bat, Ishant bowled a couple of overs full of short and wide hit mes let him settle and SA went on to draw comfortably. Hope he keeps this going for the whole summer at least to begin with

Please not Sree. Look at the domestic records of Ishant and Munaf and the recent record of Zaheer - bloody excellent. Sree has never performed consistently for anyone at the unlimited overs format - he can take a Test five wicket haul on his day but he can be an utter deadweight off his day and that is just so damaging to a team that it cannot be risked.
