Holysmoke Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 whaaaaat? holy is now a droiderrr? he showed :finger: to iPwn ? awesomeeeeeeeeee samsung and htc are best in market now. i have galaxy 551, wish i had the budget and time to wait fr galaxy s2.. sexyyyyyy the galaxy range of fones is fantastic.. i preferred 551 over other galaxy fones cuz of the qwerty (physical) keypad.. so i have the option of both touch and press :yay: Yep. :hatsoff: You need to get yourself a SGS2. You'll forget the physical keyboard once you have swype
Cricketics Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Yep. :hatsoff: You need to get yourself a SGS2. You'll forget the physical keyboard once you have swype You really use swype feature a lot?? Havent really tried that much barring few times. Especially if you have to dish out some indian words like "kya" it will end up showing as "did you mean" and than you have to select it. Takes a bit time. Regular android keyboard is pretty kool, infact swype keyboard is pretty decent but to depend on swype feature itself isn't really the best thing for texting.

So basically for the first time, you type kya like you would do on a normal keyboard. From the next time onwards, then you can swype it.. coz its added to the swype dictionary. It's really fast. I'm much faster at swype than regular texting.
Sachinism Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Swype is brilliant. BTW I'm sure the native keyboard on 2.3 supposed to learn as well. Only issue I have with swype was it didn't work well with one app I use, so I've switched it off for the moment
Shane Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Seriously, the GS2 is way underpriced, considering they are selling the iPhone 4 at around 43k.

EnterTheVoid Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 I brought a Samsung Galaxy S2 for myself and a Samsung Galaxy Ace for my mother.
Shane Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Good one sree and sunny. Sree you could have gone for the Galaxy S for your mom, a 1 Ghz processor is a must these days. sunnyji, R is good, esp since it comes with 2.3.5, so no battery drain issues.
