These days - Indian economy/military is nothing in front of China. - CWG 2010 was a total failure, just look at the Beijing Olympics. - Bollywood is total junk, Hollywood is the only proper international film industry. - Indian test squad are nowhere as good as South Africa, they are the true #1. The list shall go on, IPL is just a drop in the ocean.

As I explained, I gave extra weightage to his 'performance' in that SF because I confess I haven't seen him playing in a T20 match after that. Anyways, The subject of debate here is not Gul or Ajmal's T20 abilities but FL T20 vs IPL.

Here is a list of metrics from my side 1) Quality of international players 2) Number of people in stadiums 3) TV revenue 4) Player Pay packets 5) Number of matches and length of the league 6) TRP ratings of the tournaments 7) quality of cricket played 1) Fair enough, but the best T20 players are not in IPL, they are in FLT20. They are proving it performance after performance. 2) People are not as 'vaile' (free) to go and spend time watching domestic T20 as much as in india. 3) FLt20 is only broadcasted on SKY Sports. Only peole who can afford to watch it, can watch it. IPL is shown on terrestrial TV, and on ITV4 lol. It used to be pay per view but its bubble bursted after the 1st series. 4) Domestic english players are payed a very respecable amount. They get paid for their ability. Useless international cricketers are payed silly in the IPL, thats an unrefutable fact. 5) FLT20 has 14 teams and many matches are played simaltaneously, IPL is a match a day within 8 teams. FLT20 has established teams. 6) no comment. 7) That is a biased comment, for true cricket lovers, they could well argue that the quality is much better in England, as it has been for decades after decades.
