General_Public Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Might be a bit rainy then. You can do a combination of both though. Take a bus tour around for 1-2 days and probably rent a car and roam around on your own for the rest.

Fell in love with Goa just becasue of that particular beach. I went there for the first time after our epic 2002 Natwest series win, fully sponsored by a friend who lost bet against me..:yay:

MonishaSarabhai Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Goa Calangute beach is a must!! also vagator beach, Dona Paula Old Goa church is pretty fascinating too. Fort Aguada is nice. not great but it became very popular after the Dil Chahta Hai scene there. and since you are going with family, u might want tocheck out some temples. Goa has many beautiful temples. N hve lots of sea food and feni :two_thumbs_up: renting a car is definitely better than a package tour

EnterTheVoid Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Give chartered tours a miss and go exploring on your own, you have a lot more freedom that way. Having said that, I personally would never go to Goa, either with or without a bloody tour. I just dont like the place.
