Yes, that is stranger than strange. Unsurprisingly, their brilliant plan didn't work, and no, this didn't happen here in America, it occurred in Mexico. The woman, Maria del Mar Arjona, went to visit her jailbird husband, Juan Ramirez Tijerina. She had a large black wheeled suitcase with her for her conjugal visit. After the visit, she left but became noticeably nervous in front of officers. They also noted that her suitcase was bulky, so they opened it. Inside the suitcase, officers saw Juan Ramirez Tijerina curled up in a fetal position. Now, Tijerina won't be the only one serving time because his wife was arrested on the spot. The male inmate had been in prison since 2007 on a 20-year sentence for illegal weapons possession. It looks like his 20 years has just been extended a few more years. Seriously, love makes you do some crazy things, but the brain usually doesn't allow it to happen. In this case, Arjona doesn't seem to have much brains.
