phaedrus Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 England have lost 2 test series at home in last 4 years. SA 1. And in the series against England they should have won by 3-1 but held to draw by last wicket. Other than Swann man to man I would go with SA. absolutely. and didnt the last wicket thing happen twice?
Yoda-esque Posted June 26, 2011 Author Posted June 26, 2011 I see some posters who are very confident in a 4-0 win for India. While I agree that it is good to be optimistic, surely England aren't that bad a side? Besides we haven't really started dominating like the Aussies yet. We are getting that aura of champions though.

I agree with this. Some predictions are wildly optimistic. I can't see India winning more than 2 tests. We would have to play very well for it.

SA were brilliant in 2008 but have dropped off. Look at their record since 2009. Absolutely star line up for sure but they haven't really kicked on from their success in 2008 when they looked like they'll be number 1.

Sehwag1830 Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 4-0 India. After this series every English will be replaced by South African in England team.
maniac Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 India 2 England 1...1 draw....Very heated competition with some fines, suspensions(Not the pakistan type) and words exchanged, Youngsters might struggle, Seniors will win it for us,our bowling will be a surprise package, Bhajji will atleast over-perform in 1 test, Dhoni will struggle with the bat. Goddy will get No.100 but we will have some anxious moments Sreeshanth will be a surprise package Pietersen will fail Swann will be tamed Bell will be the top-performer Prior will surprisingly be a thorn in our flesh Finn and Tremlett might be the ones to watch out for.
