Just read some of the cricinfo comments Kumar to Prior, no run, PK is doing stuff that I thought only Pradeep Mathew, the mystery bowler from Sri Lanka, could do. He's got this one to swing in, land and then seam away. Prior was utterly befuddled, and it was just as well that the bat got stuck in the pad, else he may have managed to edge this peach.

I am sorry but this statement is inaccurate. England has scored less than 300 only a couple of times probably in the last 18 months and during this time they have played SA, Pak and OZ who are all known to be good bowling sides. I don't really know what you are on about.

PK has an average of less than 24 on flat Indian wickets in FC cricket and his avg is way better than Ishant and Sreesanth. How do you explain that ? I admit before this game, I didnt rate him highly but he has been the only bowler who bowled well for India in this game and he has done a superb job. Just goes to show you dont need express pace or have to be a giant to get wickets. Zaheer is a great example for that.

When did FC class averages atleast in Indian cricket become a criteria to compare our international players.by this logic someone like Amol Mazumdar should be playing ahead of Suresh Raina because he has more FC runs and better average.

Ok Maybe I am a bit too harsh on PK and his performance is definetely commendabale.All I am trying to say is we cant pick and choose bowlers as per conditions all the time . PK is a stock bowler but not a permenant solution like many here are making him out to be.
