Mcgrath was rarely 80 mph which is 128K..always in 130s' date=' and the best thing about him was his height and bounce along with ability move the ball in and out from the same spot.[/quote']Mcgrath was strong around hips so he was able to generate bounce with that slow pace none of india's pacers are strong around hip area hence the slow without bounce balll they bowl.

I think Sreesanth will take more wickets than IShant. I know Ishant had a good series in WI, but he had horrible series in SA and this test match. I dont expect him to take top order English wickets. Maybe i m the only one who feels that way, but something Sreesanth ends up with 1-2 top order wickets most of the times. Just like in SA, he gave good support to Zaheer after first test match.

Well, no. Bhajji gives us variety and if nothing else can plug in at one end whilst the pacers operate. Sree is not reliable, if anything the 4th pacer will be Munaf... Of course it will depend on the pitch in part too whether on th

At Trent bridge 4 seamers is not a bad idea.

Sick with three pace 1 spin. Sreesant deserves a chance. Anybody who thinks Yuvi or Raina are a better option should quit playing/watching the game.
Magar paaji who is the spin? Do you mean Raina?

I posted this earlier in some other thread. Trent Bridge is made for fast bowlers. Check last few matches there. Spinners hardly get chance to do much there. If Zaheer is fit for next test, then I would like to see 4 pacers (Zaheer, PK, Ishant, Sree). If team wants then Bhajji can play in 3rd and 4th test which aren't like Trent Bridge. Flatter tracks and better for spinners, but not this one. Sree certainly should get chance on this track.

If thats the case then a fit Zaheer can be lethal there. I Really hope he gets fit for that match.

Ind play pacers who can't bowl at pace and spinners who don't have a variety .... and then we have to respect the mediocre because they bowl line and lenth and don't give too many away :haha: Quicks: should be good for 2 of bowling quick, swing, reverse, ability to bounce the batsman. Spinners: variety, brains, control, flight
