From nasser, to atheton, to Donald, to Greig, to all the meida in england etc etc. They have been pathetic, vitriolic and frankly down right direspectful to their guests! Also so glad that in the final day the england team went all mouthy, with around 8 english players(including holier then though Strauss) giving Bhaji(irrelveant wether you like him or not, indian team players aint gonna like one of their own being subjected to that)all kinds of verbal send offs(also they all ran on the pitch). You imagine the whole indin team thinking WTF! Now they will know are in a battle and a war. As per usual we arrived all nice and ghandi like thinking it would be a great trip and good fun cricket. That silliness has been exposed. The minds will have been hardened and am sure they will be so pumped, united and now very determined to shut them up and win! History has shown we deliver at our best when oppo and their cheer leaders hammer the indian team and verbally take it to us. England have made a big mistake(did they not learn from jelly beans gate), as all they have done is poke the sleeping lion and wake him up. The india team will be pereparing and ready to go. In mission SHUT THEM UP! Big backlash coming at Trent Bridge!

Yeh you can be the really nice guy, but who wants that, people in BCCI are p$ about the way India was treated when Eng/Aus had the power, also how they abused it, now its our turn. Either do something about it or put up. All the other boards have the power to get together and step up to the BCCI, at the end of the day India needs to play someone for this money to continue rolling in. None of the other boards have spines and all their fans have no spines to do anything about the situation, so they pick the easy option and b!tch about BCCI

Indian team doesnt seem that hungry to win the series this time and I dont see any team spirit or the feeling of loss or hurt within them either. Some of them have come from West Indies and others from India. Some are injured and others are short of practice. I feel they will not get their act together till the 3rd test. Coming back is not going to be easy this time around.

Yes, we messed it up after that but that was bound to happen as the pitch was really flat post lunch and we bowled cr@p. Yes we lost badly but don't think that we dont want to win this one.

I didnt mean that they didnt want to win. I meant that they were not really 100 % raring to go and looking for every opportunity. It was quite evident from the first few days on the field. The attitude is nothing close to what we saw in South African series. Maybe they are still trying to get into the groove.
ShanS Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 As always is the case for overseas tour, the 1st test is a bit like practice game for our team. They looked out of sorts and the lack of preparation/acclimatization was pretty evident. The way we bowled on the morning of 4th day showed that atleast the bowlers found the correct line/length for these conditions (Bowlers.. not Darters). And the enthusiasm and energy was there untill Prior-Broad partnership took the game away from our reach. Also, most of our batsmen played a number of balls before getting out. They got in and got out TBH (VVS, Gautam,Sachin at 1st innings). Since we batted for about 90-05 overs in the 2nd innings, I hope they have enough 'practice' to get used to the bowlers and conditions. Let's hope for the best!

Just field a fully fit team. We did well with so many injuries and 10-men. Others (English/SA/OZ/SL/Pak/WI...) taking a dig at us is fine, but it sux when our own are not able to digest a loss - that too of a 50% fit team. Indian team do not deserve such fans. especially such fans should be 'barred from taking pride' in team's success too.
