Sachinism Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 As Jimmy Adams is saying in the Sky Sports studio: It may not be as good stats as the others in the 400 club, but if any team was told, here is a spinner who in 10 years will produce these returns, everyone would have grabbed him
vvvslaxman Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 He is bowling in the era in which every lbw isn't given that easily. ALL THOSE bowlers from past used to pitch the deliery and ended up getting lbws easily. Bhajji would have easily had about 475+ wkts had he bowled more in 90s.. You need to bowl at 1st stump, 2nd stump or 3rd stump to get lbw not 7th stump 8th stump
Midfielder Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Read post #5. Thanks! My apologies. I am jussed pissed at this Serani dude.
Cricketics Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Today is a black day in cricketing history. One of the most undeserving people to reach 400 wickets. I am glad such people who call it a black day are not Indian cricket supporters. If I am rite you from Bangladesh rite. Thanks.
Midfielder Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Today is a black day in cricketing history. One of the most undeserving people to reach 400 wickets. You sir need help.
Midfielder Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 You need to bowl at 1st stump' date=' 2nd stump or 3rd stump to get lbw not 7th stump 8th stump[/quote'] Depends how much you are turning too.
Guest Gunner Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 You sir need help. So do you. Keep praying for that one day when harby will take 5 wickets so that you can come on here and run your mouth.
Guest Gunner Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 I am glad such people who call it a black day are not Indian cricket supporters. If I am rite you from Bangladesh rite. Thanks. Lol. Laughable statement but hey why get facts get in the way of insanity, lage raho.
saneindian Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 You need to bowl at 1st stump' date=' 2nd stump or 3rd stump to get lbw not 7th stump 8th stump[/quote'] 31 leg before wickets for Bhajji out of the 125 wickets he has taken in the last 3 years!! Thats one fourth of his total wickets despite us not having the benefit of UDRS and Bhajji not being at his best. For comparison, Swann has 42 of his 140 wickets as LBWs, god knows how many of them using the UDRS.
Trichromatic Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 He is bowling in the era in which every lbw isn't given that easily. ALL THOSE bowlers from past used to pitch the deliery and ended up getting lbws easily. Bhajji would have easily had about 475+ wkts had he bowled more in 90s.. Nah, earlier umpires didn't used to give LBWs easily when batsman was too much forward. But these days umpires are giving more LBWs.
Trichromatic Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 But yeah, he is least credited bowler in the 400 club. All other bowlers are remembered as best bowlers of the world. Harbhajan won't get same credit.
punjabi_khota Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Today is a black day in cricketing history. One of the most undeserving people to reach 400 wickets. :hysterical: Lets ask Ponting, the greatest batsmen of last 10 years about it.
Guest Gunner Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 That's why he is in the Indian team and you are on a armchair :cantstop: if someone can post that 'bhajji hater' gif made by Ludz...this loser deserves it the most :finger: Yeah you should know all about losers. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Midfielder Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 So do you. Keep praying for that one day when harby will take 5 wickets so that you can come on here and run your mouth. He already has 25 of those. Personally I dont want him to get 5 in an inning because I want all Indian bowlers to get wickets. Did you get any help or I can recommend something. I am here to help but seems like you are an attention seeker. Did your parents leave you in wet diapers for extended time and ignore you.
chaiwala Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Today is a black day in cricketing history. One of the most undeserving people to reach 400 wickets. What do you mean by "undeserving?" That is such a nonsense statement. He didn't win those 400 wickets through a lottery, he earned them. So he was, in fact, quite deserving.

Lurker Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Today is a black day in cricketing history. One of the most undeserving people to reach 400 wickets. Right on. As Jimmy Adams is saying in the Sky Sports studio: It may not be as good stats as the others in the 400 club, but if any team was told, here is a spinner who in 10 years will produce these returns, everyone would have grabbed him There is a difference between having someone with numbers against their name, and someone who belongs in the elite club. Mahela jayawardene has 10,000 runs (almost). The day he makes the 10,000th run he would be the most undeserving batsmen to be in that elite list.
Trichromatic Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Undeserving is not the right word for him. He hasn't forced anyone to keep him in the team. Captains have faith in him and that's why they kept him the side. He played all those matches and took wickets on his own. He got what he deserves.

Like how Kumble is the worst 500+ bowler ?:two_thumbs_up: What a black day that was when that happened :(( Hopefully Bhajji will reach 500 and relieve Kumble of this burden
