Lolita which is best selling single of France ever. She has released 4 albums till now. Gourmandises Mes Courants Électriques Psychédélices and Une Enfant du Siècle One live album, "Alizée En Concert" which is compilation of her concert tour in 2003 was released in the year 2004. I love the live performance that one thing she does with her ankle. very cool. This is probably her most popular performance among non-French people.

Édith Piaf is one of the best French singer of 20th century. The actress "Marion Cotillard" who won the oscar for the movie "La vie en rose" based on Édith Piaf, also played a role named "Alizée" in the movie "Cavalcade". For the accent mark, you can either use alt codes. I don't use alt codes. I have changed my keyboard setting to English - United States International. Default setting in windows is English United states. Once you use this setting, you can type accent by typing ' followed by e. It will be automatically displayed as é. Fot 'e you'll have to type ' followed by space and then e. This method is faster than alt codes and since I have to use accent quite often, so I prefer this. Btw, I guess Padam Padam doesn't mean anything. Maybe it's just a sound.

Short-lived success, that too 10 years ago. If you visit HMV stores, then you may still find few copies of her albums.
