Tamim calls Zimbabwe attack 'Ordinary' and 'Nothing Special'

Nobody can accuse Tamim Iqbal of being modest. The Bangladesh opening batsman was bullish at the end of the fourth day's play, confident that his team would emerge comfortable winners because Zimbabwe's bowlers pose no threat to their line-up. "He's just ok, he's nothing special," Tamim said of Kyle Jarvis, who took two wickets late in the day to swing the advantage Zimbabwe's way. "I'm just being honest and telling the truth." He was similarly unimpressed with Brian Vitori, the left-arm seamer whose four wickets in the first innings did substantial damage to Bangladesh's cause. "He's ordinary." So, if neither of Zimbabwe's two strike bowlers pose any danger to Bangladesh, what stands in their way on their journey to victory in Harare? "Ourselves," Tamim said. "The wicket is flat so if we don't make mistakes or do anything silly, we should win." Tamim believed his own innings was a demonstration of how the rest of the line-up should bat, without fear. "I was going beautifully and if I was still there we would have had more runs," he said. "I had a plan, which was to play my shots and I was doing that. It's just bad luck that I got out, that happens in cricket." Lol oh ****...how dare he say that :hysterical: Source: cricinfo

:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Wonder what those masses of Bangla fans who were attacking "Seh***" for being disrespectful will have to say now.

This is stupidity from Tamim. Not only was he dealt with by this attack but he is putting pressure on his team-mates who'll have to bat tomorrow. He is getting very arrogant.

Right....i will speak the truth, and voice honest opinions, and am sure most other banglaedishis will do that, or else what difference does it make between us and thos pakis who somehow thru their 'qualitative analysis' will prove any random pak fast boweler>zaheer or umar akmal> sachin at early 20s, regardless of what statistics show...LOL coming back to topic, yes, there was lot of hue and cry in bangladesh when sehwag made that comment, but lemme tell u, after that absolute beating he gave in world cup scoring merciless 175, we have no choice but to accept...and he has full rights for it, he backed it up with his performance, and so, he's justified his comment that bangladesh bowlers were indeed ordinary.....as for tamim, I'll refrain from saying anything, lets see how it goes....if we can chase it down...then sure everything will look rosy, if we screw it up, he'll make himself a fool....but for now, the only reason i find is he's trying to boost the morale of the dressing room, and backing us to chase 375....let time tell everything, just one more day and we'll have our answers. I hope this spurs on the team, rather than any negative effects
