Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 It's agonizing alright. The Indian bowling is plain crap. Makes me wanna pull my hair out lol. I'd rather watch England bowling :--D

Pagalpanti Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Blessing in disguise? Some flaws which were ignored cuz we were winning anyways and at top is coming and haunting us now. Although instead of harping about this defeat, lets look what positives can come out of this defeat? Such an Iconic series, 2000th test, Sachin's 100th century, No.1 ranking at stake. And we get mauled like its a series between England and Bangladesh (even they managed better scores :giggle: ) Its sure to make an impact to Indian team/players and BCCI. But.. I see some good things coming out of it, more than the team... the BCCI is gonna get a lot of criticism for it. When India loses its no.1 crown in 2 days time they'll be under immense pressure as fans and media will blast out against BCCI, they already are. Some things might change, like: 1. Unlikely but might consider shortening IPL? 2. They will make sure players report their fitness level and be in shape. Some sort of camps during off-season(if there is any) or while players are rested. I mean some kind of fitness management so that players don't get away by hiding their injuries. 3. Warm ups! 4. Rotation policy. While in ODI's selectors have done a brilliant job by grooming youngsters in tests we haven't, we're at a stage where Sachin and Dravid might retire in quick succession leaving a big gap, so young guns need to be introduced. 5. Bowlers... need to pick bowlers who have pace. because I'm sure BCCI's power wont be the same even if they have the money but team becomes 3rd class.
amiret Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 England should declare now' date=' end this farce by tomorrow[/quote'] The way England is man-handling India and facing almost no resistance is like watching a Tiger tear apart and play with a half-dead fawn.
Jayaram_IND Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I will still support india but im losing interest in this series.Something is lacking in this team and its not just in their techniques .
Cricketics Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Sreesanth just bowls total crap People say bhajji is living on his old reputation. I don't know how this guy gets picked . People say he can bowl pace, and did good in south africa ONCE and has a good swing going when right hand bat is on. TO HELL WITH ALL THAT. Never does anything when India needs him or even when we don't need. Freakin bowler can take all remaing 8 English wickets, but sitll shouldn't be in INdian team. It was a pretty poor decision by selectors to even bring him for WC squad when PK got injured. This dude just doesn't bowl that good to be playing for INida. Ya we suck at other bowling options, but I would rather play someone else instead of this. Munaf should have been given a go here perhaps.

yoda Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Dude, he is a pretty good test bowler. Yea he is sucking here, so is the entire fecking team.
Trichromatic Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Indian bowling is just crap. You think that they are test class bowlers? These are figures in England. Even if it's flat pitch, still it assists bowlers a bit. These are the figures good for ODI and IPL. They should stick to that only. Leave test cricket.
bunny Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 The most overrated 'talent' of all time http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/records/averages/batting_bowling_by_team.html?id=6112;team=6;type=series Sreesanth has to be a strong contender. Not taking wickets is one thing, but leaking 4.7 RPO in a really important series is another. I doubt any Indian fast bowler has leaked 4.5+ in a series playing 2+ tests.
Temujin Khaghan Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 OTT reaction cant people have a bad day? except that our guys are having bad weeks... :((
Jayaram_IND Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/records/averages/batting_bowling_by_team.html?id=6112;team=6;type=series Sreesanth has to be a strong contender. Thing is sreeshanth starts trying too many things if the wicket doesnt help him.He can learn from pk to just keep things tight.Already the opposition is in a strong position and the last thing we need are easy runs given away.England are not india to hand the match to us on a platter like we did in nottingam.
Pagalpanti Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I don't care if its 4-0 now.. it might happen though. But Oval doesn't assist pacers much so India might draw it. I'm more worried about ODI series now.
Trichromatic Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Dude' date=' he is a [b']pretty good test bowler. Yea he is sucking here, so is the entire fecking team. :omg: Standards of good test cricket bowling have really gone very low then. Is he good test bowler because he can't bowl in ODIs at all?
Chaos Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 people who r defending him.... something effin wrong in ur brain cells?. He is useless and cant bowl with good eco at the MINIMUM. going over 4-5? roflll
Cricketics Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 OTT reaction cant people have a bad day? except that our guys are having bad weeks... :(( Yes. But I was never impressed with this dude. I like his antiques, and would rather keep in drama show if I ever big some big dude in Mumbai having my own Balaji telefilms like setup, but not for the INdian team. Atleast for now. He just isn't good.
rajmarie Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Sree can have occasional good day. Most of the time....if he bowls crap. Always giving atleast 2 short & wide balls to batsman every over. Not to mention...IMO...if he cant take a wicket quick...he sees up & tells ...OK...MY LUCK IS ****ED SO NO MATTER WHAT I DO I WILL NOT PICK WICKET...SO **** IT THEN
asterix Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Just one failure in this series and people are ... (This statement can be used for any player with minor modifications)..:giggle:
