msb1991 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 The pitch is flat as a pancake. What do you expect ? Some pressure? Some accuracy? It is not as if England are smashing India off a good line and length. They are waiting for the crap ball and punishing it.
ganeshran Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 There is no point in declaring below 650. Lots of time left in the match and they would try to inflict an innings defeat.
Rajiv Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Last 10 overs, Run Rate is 6.80, thats even better than some games in IPL :giggle::giggle:
CrazyCric Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I still have hope from this game. I know these brits have 50 lead already' date=' but what if we get them under 250 run lead, [b']we can score about 450-500 surely 2nd time around here. With that we have chance to comeback in the game by askin brits to chase about 300. :hysterical::haha::hysterical::haha::hysterical::haha: That's funny
Kumar Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 we really should ave got RP Singh back. Being a leftie also adds a good mix of the bowling.
Cricket Tragic Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Dhoni needs to stand up to the stumps to PK.
Trichromatic Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 For those who are watching- and I am not- is it as bad as the scorecard makes out? I mean how badly are we bowling? Is it more the pitch being flat? Are defensive field placings not helping?? Are the batsmen simply excellent? In short- WTF is going wrong? I guess you have seen bowling where bowlers have no control over line and length. Pitch is flat, but it's still not as flat as Indian pitches. For ex - PK is still swinging a little bit. Ishant and Sree are absolute crap. They are bowling this crap at PK's speed.
amiret Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 For those who are watching- and I am not- is it as bad as the scorecard makes out? I mean how badly are we bowling? Is it more the pitch being flat? Are defensive field placings not helping?? Are the batsmen simply excellent? In short- WTF is going wrong? The pitch looks lifeless when we bowl. When we bowled in the morning there was a bit of swing but England batsmen showed good technique. We are also bowling inconsistently on both sides of the wicket. No pressure being built. Our bowlers are unable to sustain the pressure when the ball is not doing much. PK is giving away just 2.20 runs an over while the rest are giving away 4+ ! how is it that PK is able to bowl economically but the rest are not ?! Ishant is giving away 5 runs an over in a TEST MATCH ! to summarize , it is not as bad as the scorecard makes out , it is worse.

Jayaram_IND Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Looks like it will be 4-0 if india lose this test. Then the last test becomes meaningless and the team wont be motivated to perform. The will in all likelyhood just wait for the series like we do.
Trichromatic Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 See how he is improving over the years. In last 2 years, he averages over 40 and economy around 4. Signs of a good test bowler. Is he getting chance in the team for those rare 5fer which he took some day. Rest of the matches he has been absolute crap. How did he get chance in the team? Last 10 matches 26 wickets. ODIs - Crappiest bowler IPL - I don't watch this tournament, but I guess he hasn't done well there either. Domestic cricket - Has he done well there?
Stuge Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 CRAP bowling ,CRAP batting ,CRAP fielding .what else is left to expose .
Trichromatic Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 520/5 decl. Why do they need to declare somewhere before lunch on day 3 with less than 300 as lead and give India over 250 overs to bat?
vaibhav_delhi Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 we really should ave got RP Singh back. Being a leftie also adds a good mix of the bowling. my thoughts as well.
vvvslaxman Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 please change the title to "Sreesant and Ishanth bowl total crap"
