I want to buy a sexy new cellphone when I visit India in a month. Any suggestions?
Samsung Wave 2 or 3 is sexy, buy Nokia N9 the sexiest, Nokia Lumia 800 Windows phone, SGS2. I bought a new Samsung Wave 2 a few days ago and I found it a real value for money, though It has Bada OS, but I do not if I would do something else it even had Android. Bada is now improved and is improving by the day as Samsung may diverse from Android soon due to some royalty issues with Microsoft. They have launched quite a few new Wave series phones. Wave 2 has brilliant Camera picture quality and great HD video recording, and SC-LCD screen of 3.7" with Gorilla glass.

I also have been using Wave 2 for the last 4-5 months. Its a brilliant phone and I have had absolutely no complains so far................except the OS and the App store that is very bad. BTW did you get Bada 2.0 or 1.2 with the phone??

No, I did not get Bada 2, but I updated it immediately after buying to Bada 2.0. Flashing is very easy. I Just searched on Google and found the updated version and procedure. Regarding apps, I do not use much of them, so I have no problem with the set. The best thing about it is the metal body finish, no plastic and it cost Rupees 15,700.

The airport line is phenomenal. I've hooked mine to my music system, connected a printer to thr usb port for wireless printing. I am using it as a range extender for my extreme, to which ive connected my external hdd for wireless backups via time machine, as well as sharing files via the net. And then ppl ask me why I love apple products.. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk.

Truly is phenomenal.Even the speed seems better though I do not have any quantifiable measure for this. The only concern I have is that it seems to heat up quite a bit.

I thought u belonged to iphone group
Not since y'day. :yay: FREEEEEEDOMMMMMMMMM! :yay: Edit; Watched the India-West Indies game live on some flash player on some streaming site all day y'day. Since its 4G LTE, the speed is incredible! If this were the iphone, the number of hoops i had to jump thru to do that. Had to buy the willow tv subscription and pay extra money for that..

thank you - been saying that since ages - no matter how good the iphone is, whats the point of having it when u can't even enjoy a simple flash based video..this is where apple's stupid ego comes in place P.S how is LTE Speed, show us speed test results and what plan did u get for LTE, here we have $50 for 10GB LTE

You don't even need LTE connection to enjoy streamed video. But I can imagine how sweet that would be.

But i have to give Apple this much - They really have thought everything thru. Its almost as though every single time the Samsung/Google engineers sat down to draw up process and exception flows, they sort of got bored halfway and stopped abruptly. For many of the applications that come pre-loaded in the S2, the design/interface is far from perfect. From the perspective of giving the user total control over the content he chooses to play in his smartphone, Android wins heads down. But interms of phone/application design and user-friendliness, Apple simply thumps every one else.

I have played that much with it. I didnt have any issues streaming the video on my phone. I tried playing megavideo as well - same result (buffer free streaming). But a word of caution - Please wait till i have had the chance to full explore it.
