Mohali was also there in that time period. But may be being an Indian I am attaching more (sentimental) value to those 73 runs :cantstop:. Overall I can't complain about him not being included.
Sorry, my bad. The previous awards ceremony was in Bangalore after the Mohali test and I assumed that the voting period started from the Bangalore test vs Australia.

For me list is good. Best openers of this period Best no 3 player Best no 4 Kallis and ABD Not sure about WK Best all-rounder Best spinner Best pacers.
you mean you agree that zak did not deserve a place allthough he performed better than all the bowlers.

You are making predictions for 12 months based on the data of 1 month!! Don't write-off SRT that easily. India has to play lot of test cricket in coming few months.
I am not writing him off bro....SRT missed WI and had an average series in Eng and faces a tough challenge in Aus where as dravid has had an incredible 2 months already and Bell has a relatively easier task with Pak in the coming months,so I am just saying they have advantage of sneaking up on him

It has been just 20 days since start of new calender year which means last two test matches of Eng Tour. Though you have a point there yet it's too early to make predictions for whole year.

BTW why have these Test and ODI teams been released in September??? there's still lots of cricket to be played in the year :hmmmm2:
They consider performances from July/August to July/August and not the calendar year.
