However, Andy Flower is trying to change the players and public mindset so that ODIs should be given equal priority to Test matches, and to use the same work ethic that has seen England rise to number 1 in the world. I am totally convinced, especially after Flower rested possibly the best batsman in the world for this series - he would clearly have done that for the test match series wouldn't he............

Maybe they might put up a good show in the 2015 WC. However Vaughan went against the cardinal rule of boasting; You talk big/smack after you win and not before you are about to lose. :P His comments will return to haunt him in the future.

The Sky team suggested that KP had been dropped cos of his poor form in ODI's However, i don't believe that because if that had been the case we would have heard about it from KP on twitter. As for KP being possibly the best batsman in the world Are you being serious?

Im not saying he IS the best, but on his day there is no one better. Whatever your opinion of KP, his exclusion from the one day team doesn't give me any confidence England are taking OD cricket as seriously as test cricket.

Cricket Tragic Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 thats true' date=' [b']but he is deadly serious in this instance. the guy actually believes that ingerland are a good ODI side and that they would have done well in the world cup if they werent 'knackered'. i guess if we ever want an excuse to justify our pathetic performance this summer, we have one ready. then again, do i really want to talk like an englishman... And he isn't the only one. Other jokers on Sky and TMS also believe that England didn't do well because they were tired.

Isn't Dhoni giving excuses about Player rotations and Player fatigues etc? You guys think Indian players wouldn't have shat in their pants if they were in the similar situation like England players after playing a gruelling 5 test series against a tough team and then immediately coming to play the WC2011?
