Yoda-esque Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 ^Early-Mid 90s had plenty of such legendary songs as well as movies.A lot of them starred MithunDa, Akshay Kumar,Ajay Devgn and Suniel Shetty and we used to bunk college and watch matinee shows.Chandal,Cheetah,Gunda,Jai-Kishen,Balwaan,VijayPath..the list is endless Special mention on the "theaters" of the time.Most of the times, the theaters used to be empty.The seats themselves were torn and bug infested.The corridor smell leading to the entry door was a strange mix of urinals and popcorn ,stale samosas ,wafers ,flat /warm Thums Up which the canteen would serve up and there would almost always be a few "couples" who'd come to the theaters to cootchie-cooey and look at suspicion at everybody in the fear of being recognised.
