Fer you know what is Sachin's record against Australia in both formats? how many hundreds he has scored in Australia even with their top bowlers playing in their prime? Just because he had one below average series (that too after three years!) doesn't mean every tom,dick and harry will continue to dictate terms with him! You better stop your bs on Sachin.

He didn't play for 5 months in the summer of 2009 and he made a hundred in his first series back in the tri-series final in SL followed by 175 vs Australia. He didn't play for 5 months in the summer of 2010 and came back to top score for India in the test series in SL, again in his first series back. A shorter break before the SA tour didn't matter either.

PS: I think he will certainly play against WI at least 1-2 match if not all 3 if he is fit. Otherwise, he will have no match practice and match fitness before Aussie tour. At this stage of his career, a long break can do more harm than good.
