kubrickian Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I had an accident once but the difference was that I was not on the bike. I was crossing the road and some ******* came riding on a bike at full speed and hit me. The impact threw me into the air and I landed about 4 or 5 meters away. Some of my friends were just around and they took me to hospital. I was lucky nothing serious happened. My leg got fractured though and I missed college for 3 months.:((
the_indian_fan Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 there is nothing wrong in overspeeding, if its done safely & within limits. also buying a super-bike does not mean that u have to ride it fast always. in city, riding a superbike at speed of 45 km/h is ok while riding bikes, take care of these points - 1. dont ride faster than 50 km/h when in city 2. always wear helmets 3. keep ur bike papers with u 4. dont try to race with other people on roads 5. get ur bike serviced every 2-3 months 6. dont jump traffic lights 7. if u want to over-speed, do it before 7 am & on highways. i sometimes ride my bike at speeds of 100 km/h around 5-6 am on the noida-greater noida expressway, but inside the city, i dont go faster than 50 and remember 1 thing - BIKES R BETTER THAN CARS:--D
punjabi_khota Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 45 km/h is overspeeding ? Are we talking about cycle rickshaws ?

Not in the context of riding bikes. 34;26 " Hear o believers, Allah will reward those who follow traffic regulations with 72 sports bikes in the afterlife." 57;29 " Verily I say unto you, that those of you who cut lanes shall be forever condemned to the flames of jahannum from which there is no respite " SJ, abhi waqt hai, sudhar jao. :nervous:

India is the last place people should be going fast on roads. The roads are not meant for speed.People on the roads do not follow rules.Too much traffic and all kinds of wild and domestic creatures on the road. I hope some policewalla catches and gives you one kaan ke neeche.Saari speed bhool jaega Sirji.

TheYuvi02 Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 RIP but it's just so stupid that so many young boys in India(cant comment about other places) watch movies and try to act it out in real life by riding bike in high speed and end up causing accidents... total idiots
