Maundy Gregory Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 WC Champions :hehe: So even BD can manage to win the odd ODI in England.............
gaurav92 Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 We tied a game so its not a whitewash, but yeah its a clean sheet :((
gaurav92 Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Jo Khatm ho gaya use bhool jao, ab naye daur ki shuruwaat ki jaaye. Hope we beat Windies comprehensively in Tests (2-0 or 3-0)
Prakat Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 The summer of discontent if there was one. Time to hit duty free.
MCcricket Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 As a Indian fan I am dissapointed, what worried me is not the loss ,we were impacted by alot of injuries, bad scheduling,yes they could do better, showed more intent, team looks jaded.I am worried about the decisions made by the selector's and capatin , clearly their decisions have cause us to loose as much as the performance of players.All these factors made the battle look like it was David and Goliath , the funny thing was England side was not even as good as the Aussie side in their prime, hopfully what we can take away from this all is , planning , injury management, selection , player replacements , need a new captain and selectors.India will be in a worst spot in two years with fab 4 retiring and with Dhoni at the helm we will not make any progress in finding the right players or building a new side.
rabinjackman Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Maybe there was an arrangement between BCCI and the Cricket Gods, You give us the world cup, we agree to let England win everything else :winky:
Sidhoni Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 :aha::aha: :yay::yay::yay::yay: :aha::aha: :yay::yay::yay::yay:
Bradman99 Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Worst tour? Can you guys think of a worse tour that India has had then this one against England? That was pretty damn bad.
Yoda-esque Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Most of the threads are being recycled
kabira Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 seems like the they are struggling to close the games. Happens if you have lost badly.. seems like belief has taken a hit. the hallmark of this team was belief and to win from any situation. Sooner they start winning again, better it will be.
Cricket Tragic Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 So which game did India win? :facepalm: England didn't win all the ODI games and hence it is not a whitewash. Did India whitewash England in the 2007 test series because England didn't win a test?
Sarkar Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 :hatsoff::hatsoff::hatsoff: England for showing team India where they belong :giggle: And ur team was kicked out of world cup by India in semi finals.:finger:
Trichromatic Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Jo Khatm ho gaya use bhool jao, ab naye daur ki shuruwaat ki jaaye. Hope we beat Windies comprehensively in Tests (2-0 or 3-0) India hasn't won 3 test matches in a series in last 16 years. What's special with this bowling line-up that can give India it's best series figures now? Team has often struggled to win more than 1 test in a series. Since 1995, we have won 2 matches in a series 8 times out of 37. In last 4 years, when team is considered to be all-time best Indian team , only twice we have managed to 2 tests in a series with more 3 or more tests. Although team was very good in last few years and achieved no 1 test rank, it often managed to save the match instead of winning. We saw so many series where India won only 1 test. Strong batting can ensure that team doesn't lose many matches, but it can't ensure wins. It would great for the team if they win the series 2-1, 2-0 or 3-0.
