kabira Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 well did he really say those exact words? I don't know much about this, so asking? IF he did say that, I think its against national interest.
arun81 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Here is the video where he talks about Kashmir Separation VQXHFa3p-rA Scum deserved it...
rahulrulezz Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 tbh I m sick of this Kashmir debate and realized that what Bhushan said is actually right... We all know Partition in 1947 happened for good and it was actually blessing in disguise for Indians that Pakistan was born... I can now see the same thing.. probably leaving out Kashmir will actually be good for us and keep away all the future terror elements out of India..

The fact that you think it is so, clearly underscores how little you know about the subject.
arun81 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 +1... May be if your family got kicked out of your hometown with nothing in hand you would understand the pain Pandits have to go thru.... India doesn't need another Islamic Republic next to its border....If we cede Kashmir then next will be NE, Northern Kerala etc
rahulrulezz Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 +1... May be if your family got kicked out of your hometown with nothing in hand you would understand the pain Pandits have to go thru.... India doesn't need another Islamic Republic next to its border....If we cede Kashmir then next will be NE' date=' Northern Kerala etc[/quote'] dude...firstly dont bring personal remarks.. dont wanna loose my temper on some $h!t..secondly how long are we gonna talk abou Kashmiri Pundits....lets not be Pakistanis and keep focusing on past.. lets try to make our future brighter.. how much more young kids in Army do we wanna loose.. so much money is being spent to provide arms and controlling Kashmir whereas 1/3 of India is under poverty.. time to focus on our infrastructure.. let me give u example, some folks in Quebec wanted it to seperate from Canada...guess what Canada did.. organized elections in QUEBEC that whether they wanna stay with Canada, result was in favor of Canada.. see, nothing was wasted on army, ammunations...Canada realized that if they wanna stay with us, thats ok, we won't force them... we should do that same thing.. we are spending so much mone for infrastructure in Kashmir, whats the use if they dont like us.. not good for us, not good for our future.. its only jus 60 years, so if u look in a long term, we havent invested much and its not a bad time to leave that place before we invest even more...
arun81 Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Yeah sure...In the Canadian Quebec Example...Quebecians did not kill people who did not agree with them...Nor was Quebec demographically altered.... Kashmir has been demographically altered so a plebicite is not right.... If you have not lost anything in Kashmir, STFU and stop preaching

And I would again suggest you stop because you know diddly squat about the issue. If you still wanna discuss, start a different thread.

Quebec province of Canada is the perfect example... Quebec has total diffirent people, culture, language etc and thats why some people wanted it to be a seperate state.. next thing is Voting, Canada wins and all iz well.. why are we Indians scared of such voting..cuz we know, Kashmiris won't choose India.. but tbh it is good for us...lets keep our country free from all violent people

There is no historical reason to believe this to be true.

I just thought of some questions you might wanna answer in your spare time: 1) Would you suggest a plebiscite for a state like Punjab or a fraction of it in the 80s ? Kashmir valley as such is less than 5% of the population of India and Jammu/Ladakh are not keen on any 'Azadi' dope, so i guess your solution is let any part of India declare independence, however tiny. Is that a fair assessment ? 2) What are your opinions on the American Civil War ? The Confederate States of America should have existed ? 3) Lets assume India did grant Kashmir valley independence. What makes you assured that a) Pakistan does not annex it or use it as a sphere of influence ? If they were ready to fiddle with adventures such as Kargil and support the Khalistan movement, this must surely come as a pat on the back to continue the policy of thousand cuts. b) China does not capture the area ? They already control Aksai Chin & have no qualms crushing all protests in Tibet. Some important questions to ponder about ..
WC2011INDIA Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 This entire episode is FARCE. Won't be surprised if Prashant himself staged this whole bloody thing. I mean how the f u c k the whole thing was recorded from beginning to end? It's as if, the reporters were invited to shoot this whole sequence. The reasons? to divert attention from the folly Team Anna has committed, that is, targetting a particular party and all that shenanigan in Hissar that is totally uncalled for and proves that some people of the team Anna like Kiran Bedi, Kejriwal etc. are trying to enter politics. People are now questioning their movement.
ganeshran Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 I dont agree with his views, but India is a democracy. Contrary opinion cannot be violently suppressed.

ganeshran Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 e.g. US in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam.... Thats not a right analogy. They were not separatist movements. The Civil war in USA might be a closer example
akshayxyz Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Thats not a right analogy. They were not separatist movements. The Civil war in USA might be a closer example You have to go few layers of abstraction below. There is analogy in terms of trying-to-acquire/holding on to resources., .. which is what most of the wars/movements are about...and in terms of 'judicious' use of power. They are in fact even worse examples of maturity on part of so called developed nations.. who as per rahulrulezzz are supposed to be mature enough in use of power/military.
akshayxyz Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 In other words - rahul is supporting to stop use of power, in trying to defend something which was ours - by giving example of how a developed nation would have behaved. Whereas, same developed nations have repeatedly abused power over something which was not even theirs, and moreover 1000s of miles away.
akshayxyz Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 jiska danda uski bhains - just the danda is replaced by missiles/bombs/military/powerful-alliances...., because whoever has the bhains, will get the milk and meat etc. altruism also has a selfish motivation.
