deathmonger Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 pakistan drew the test series against australia in england and beat them in limited overs matches ' date=' they won a test against england whereas india were being thrashed by even the county sides , also drew against southafrica , what are you even trying to suggest ??[/quote'] they won a test against england - mainly due to the bowling heroics of asif, amir and wahab. with asif and amir practicing their bowling in prison nets and wahab under investigation you don't have a chance with these trundlers. drew the test series against australia - see above also drew against southafrica - mentioned it. uae flat tracks. also i mentioned away tours to these countries. Even with Amir and Asif you'd fail to beat Oz in Oz as Asif is a very condition dependent bowler and you did fail to beat Oz in Oz in even a single match as you had failed even when the two W's were there. Eng in Eng and SA in SA may have been possible with the fixers but with your batting (and don't post your avg scores this year which has been greatly inflated by Middle East and Zimbok tour) and this trundler attack no way.

Pagalpanti Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Don't you know its common in Pakistan to live in past. They're fastest bowler Wahab Riaz is also out now, only Gul is left who can touch 140 occasionaly.

Blue Panther Posted November 5, 2011 Author Posted November 5, 2011 Ishant is already bowling 140s consistently.
Blue Panther Posted November 5, 2011 Author Posted November 5, 2011 umesh clocking 140s in a dead pitch.
deathmonger Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 gul bowls 125-140 in test cricket and in odi/t20 he is 140 + ishant and yadav are 140+ in all forms of cricket. Even Aaron too but I'll update it after Aaron plays a test.
bajrang Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 umesh and ishant bowling 140+ hehehe lol at pakis and their slow(phaaaaast) bowlers :hysterical:
Jas20 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Breaking news ; Peta massive campaign effect fast bowling in pakistan
CSK Fan Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 There must have been some psychological scarring. How can a 140 kmph bowler becomes so slow. Even our famed trundlers became slow gradually. Gul always bowls in the 130ssin test. He is at his fastest in T20s where he bowls all out and reached more than 145+
panther Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 yadav is seriously quick and consistent sharma is not consistent with his speeds
deathmonger Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 yadav is seriously quick and consistent sharma is not consistent with his speeds with that figure he can't be as fast as yadav. he is still in the late 130s with a couple of 140+ deliveries.
yadhav500 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 TBH Ten Sports speed guns are a bit different to what we use here. Even in SL v AUS matches Johnson rarely crossed 140kph mark. Might have something to do with this scenario. But then again some new SL bowler who was injured today bowled around 142-143kph at times. I'm actually surprised with Umesh's increase in pace. He wasn't this pacy during his initial stages, say, in that fail tri-series in ZIM or even in IPL.
express bowling Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 yadav is seriously quick and consistent sharma is not consistent with his speeds This season Ishant Sharma has been pretty consistent with his speeds apart from the last 2 tests of the English series where he was playing with ankle injury -- 134 k to 143 k in tests faster ones around 145k 135 k to 146 k in ODIs and T20s Plus he hits the deck hard and gets steep bounce which makes the batsman very uncomfortable and hop.
JaFanatic Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 junaid khan is the new add to trundling powerhouse:two_thumbs_up:
Sean Bradley Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Pakistan Bowling is good only on their green forum and at times green pitch, we have seen how sehwag and co dealt with them mercilessly in the past :bumsmack:, the entire pakistani team is over-rated, under paid, crooked, vindictive against eachother...God Bless Them !
King Khan Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Its gettig scarry for Pakistan fast bowlers not having heat in them. I wonder what will happen with all these avg speed in T20s against Australia at Ramadan.
Vilander Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 no they haven't gul was never 140+ bowler in test cricket and neither is ishant umar gul is averaging 25.97 in all formats this year ishant is averaging 34.02 in all formats this year http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=11;spanmin1=01+Jan+2011;spanval1=span;template=results;type=bowling Ishant is faster than Gul ever was, he is also a better bowler.
Vilander Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Truth be told, even Pakistan has had their share of mediocre trundlers (Tanvir etc) but they always had a bunch of world class fast bowlers. With the retirement of the two W's most of the new bowlers they tried were mediocre but there was always Akhtar (brilliant a times, **** at times but still phaaaaast), Asif (trundler but since he was a good bowler got a free pass from Pakis) and later Amir. But now with Asif,Amir in jail and Akhtar in retirement and new hero Wahab (good bowler but vastly overrated due to that Mohali 5 wkt haul) under ICC investigation Pakistan now are finally at a point where they don't have any phaaaaaaaaast bowlers. To make matters worse, now we have three 140+ bowlers - Ishant, Varun, Umesh. It's like your gorgeous wife whom you loved so much has run off with your worst enemy. Can't wait to defeat them in some ICC tourney then chide them for playing all spinners by spamming on cricinfo and other sports forums. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: This
