Kallis is one player who has always struggled in England and his record against Australia is nothing to boast about. What you talking about?? Ponting the FTB averaged a miserly 39 with only 1 ton and 1 50, you call that phenomanal, I call it letting your country down. Ponting has mediocre record in England and pathetic record in India. Can't play swing/seam or turning ball!

And as far as cant play swing is concerned,dont know what you are talking about.His 100 in Old Trafford test(that vamos_rafa talked about in an earlier post) was a pretty decent one and also the one at Headingley ,his 1st 100 in England.Dont want to bring ODIs into this but in a ODI vs NZ at Mohali(in CT 2006) ,the way he played Bond and Mills in the first 10 overs of that game was a great sight.If you had seen that innings you wouldnt have talked about his play against swing bowling. His career may be coming to an end now but he certainly isnt a FTB.

It was a good sporting track offering a little seam movement as the South African tracks do. But on the second day after lunch, it had something to do with the tide (I heard the commentators say that) which made the ball swing crazily and the batsmen from either side obviously could not cope with it and 18 wickets fell in two hours. It had to be the most chaotic session of test cricket ever!! But I loved it just because India was not playing!!
