Cricket Tragic Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 salman butt copied salim malik (but he got caught)
Bumper Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Avishkar Salvi is a carbon copy of Glen McGrath (only in terms of bowling action)
skindia Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I remember sehwag's innings of 100 in 69 balls against newzealand..that time he was playing like sachin..
maniac Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Similarities I have seen... Sehwag - Tendulkar Mukund - S Ramesh Bravo - Lara Read somewhere that Chris Cairns was a mirror image of his dad Lance Cairns but never saw Lance cairns bat so can't comment on it. http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=269061&highlight=cleanest
maniac Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Anil Kumble(The batsman)-Ijaz Ahmed Both used to stick their *** out while batting Murali Vijay(Pre-Ipl)-Laxman Wayne Parnell-Ashish Nehra
Trichromatic Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Lara and Bravo both scored 100 in their 13th match.
Sachin=GOD Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Not only has he copied Lara's style but seems like he has also copied Lara's penchant for big scores.
saneindian Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Unlike Lara, he loves batting in and against India. Perhaps the most impressive young batsman in the game right now. 3 100s in the last 4 tests is an amazing feat for someone so young.
Sachinism Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 If he gets out on 167, he'll continue following the geniuses path
akshayxyz Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Lara and Bravo both scored 100 in their 13th match. This just proves RPT theory.
Trichromatic Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 :WTF: he is out for 166!!!! :hysterical: Just missed by 1 run.
ganeshran Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 If he gets out on 167' date=' he'll continue following the geniuses path[/quote'] :omg:
JeffThommo_fan Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Yes, I was very weak in science in 10th class, so in final exams, I copied complete paper from my front roll no :winky:
nitinbwj Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Mr. Sonia Mirza was once a carbon copy of Saqlain. just got OUT on a duck....again ! :haha:
nitinbwj Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 salman butt copied salim malik (but he got caught) :two_thumbs_up:
gakgupta Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Sachin atleast very early in his career emulated his idol Gavaskar a lot (right down to the type of pads :) which has now become his trade mark), but would not say an outright copy. Credit to Bravo, as I have always thought it is probably easier to copy Tendulkar than Lara (style of play that is, not achievements), as Tendulkar's is an ultra refined style distilled and diluted by years of persistent hardwork and practise, to eliminate false strokes as much as possible, whereas Lara's was always pure genius and instinct at work, a manifestation of in-born talent almost completely untouched by refinement of practise and introspection. well said...can't agree more
gakgupta Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 salman butt copied salim malik (but he got caught) Ajay Jadeja copied Azhar and both were caught...
