Chaos Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 After yesterdays dismissal, it seems like he doesnt give a *** about test match batting. I am a huge fan of him but wth is he doing. Yesterdays dismissal is embarrassing to batting
cowboysfan Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 He takes more risks in test matches than what he does in t20s,that should tell you about his confidence level.
mishra Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Probably the interest in test got over as soon as Sachin got out.... Just speculating ... :nervous:
MCcricket Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Dhoni is a one day batsmen and a test tailender, he is more found out abroad , Iam waiting to see him in OZ
BeautifulGame Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Ya Dhoni doesnt give a sh1t about test cricket batting thats why he scored 140 in last test match. Dhoni averages 50 in this series show me how Indian wicket keepers averaged 50 in a test series in the past? Its idiotic how people cant see the difference btw a wicket keeper batsman and a genuine batsman
kirkutfan Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 We are so ficklle. The 144 is "old" news and Dhoni is such a flop.
Ultimate_Game Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 This innings proves why Mongia was better than Dhoni :--D
J P K Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 i know he is bad in test but still i dunno why guys are whining so soon he scored 144 only in last match
Ultimate_Game Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 i know he is bad in test but still i dunno why guys are whining so soon he scored 144 only in last match Well this is "what did you do for me lately" world
Sehwag1830 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Dhoni as a test player ? Does he really need 400 on the scoreboard everytime he comes to bat to play well? He is a walking wicket in test match ?
skindia Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 he plays well on flat pitch in tests..even in odi
Ranjha Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 no replacement for dhoni so he has to stay...but yea he is not a test level batsman.
surajmal Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 On pitches that don't suit Dhoni style, he needs to go boom boom afridi. Atleast he'll score some runs that way.
The Outsider Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Isn't this thread an oxymoron? Dhoni and test match batting? But I am pretty sure his fan boys will bump this up the next time he scores a century from 300/5.
Sachin=GOD Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Dhoni's technique is just not good enough for Tests. Period.
Pagalpanti Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 He's been out of form for quite a while now in tests, the 100 he made too was after 2 catches off no-ball early in his innings.
