that is not reason u have stopped bashing bhajji these days because bhajji won tamasha cup for u :--D
Respect to him for winning the Tamasha cup too. But I changed my views long before that.. :icflove:

That's touching bro' date=' life is so unpredictable...that could've happened to anyone here..be strong :icflove:[/quote'] Thanks mate.. I don't think Bhajji's crticism is due to regionalistic or religious reasons. Most of the critics are actually dissapointed of him not delivering when he became the lead bowler in the team after Kumble left the scene... His ODI style of containment bowling affected his performance in Test cricket...

:nervous: I agree I've been one of the earlier critics of Bhajji.. But, having lost my father at an early age, I've now feel that I've been very harsh on Bhajji, who also had to grow up, having lost his father when he was young. Maybe, it's nothing to do with his performance and maybe I'm digressing..but I know it's hard work to make a career when you're on your own and also take care of your family being the only male and taking all the responsibilities. I'm pretty sure that Bhajji will come back strong.. Sorry for digressing and being emotional.
But Bhajji has crossed that stage long back. He is pretty rich now. Everyone has a story. Ishant has a story. Munaf has a story. Irfan has a story. But now they have all reached a stage which i can never possibly reach. He was hailed when he batted well. It was his bowling that became so impotent that he looked more like a part timer.

As I said, I digressed. I was only saying that he, having struggled earlier and making a name, should've made him strong and in present situation, he can again come back strong...

I have been a Bhajji supporter for long. But after what happened in England, he was rightly dropped from the squad. It's time for him to accept that he is no longer the lead spinner in the country. Younger spinners have grabbed their chances. The best thing for Bhajji to do will be to accept the decision of the selectors whole heartedly, agree that his bowling had stagnated, take it as a challenge and start working hard on shortcomings. The more he sulks, worse it will look. There is plenty of cricket being played these days and if he starts taking wickets again, a comeback to the national side will never be very far from him.

Silly comments like that show the hate. Up until recently was for years in top 10 test bowlers. Even in windies series this year did very well withaverage of 25. Correct to be dropped but lets not exaggerate his down fall, its aslo a case of 2 very good spinners emerging, young talented guns coming to fore

Yuvraj singh comfortably outbowled him. In world cup Yuvraj >> BHajji

We are talking tests. On that basis Yuvraj should be in test team. You are getting in a muddle. Interestingly. Bhaji averagred 25 in test series in windies. In this current series Oijha and Ashwin averaged 22 each. So the stats show similar performances and not that much better. Yet after that series the Bhaji got slaughtered for his perfomances, while in this one the spin twins are getting lauded. Smacks of hate, rather then factual. For the record again I agree with Ashwin and Oijha being ahead of Bhaji. But the slaughtering Bhaji gets and is still getting is not on and bizzare

400 plus test wickets and he sucks at what he is doing. The nonsense posted is amazing!
Dude the 400 wickets argument is just A-grade nonsense. You are sounding like a broken record and are now matching Dartbhajan's bowling post by post. I guess you should now scream for the Saurashtra Bradmans and Orissa Hammonds to be selected for India since they took apart a guy with 400 Test wickets to the cleaners.

There is a saying which is very true in this case that is "stats can be very misleading some times."

Look one can say he should be dropped cos form has waned. But to not say he has been great player for India with loads of success is not on. He should not be abused and slaughtered like he is after all he has done for indian team

Did you check the strike rate? It was 68.

Well stats are always apparently misleading when to do with Bhaji apparently. Top 10 in rankings for ages, 400 plus wickets, wc winner, consistent no 1 spinner in test ranked no 1 team, top wicket taker on occassions in calendar years fror world cricket etc etc. All stats misleading for bhaji. Others players stas should be lauded of course

Tendulkar has done far more than that.. He doesn't escape criticism. How on earth you expect Bhajji the darter can get away from criticism. Every single cricketer will have their share of criticisms. That includes Dravid, Laxman, Sachin, Viru..

I am sure Bhajji had made enough money for his next 5 generations

Why is hard to believe that bhaji has people who thinks he deserves a place in the squad. He has 400+ test wickets after all. Why indulge in silly conspiracy theories on the net of connections blah blah. Similar to outrageous net theories that he faked injury blah blah. We are behaving like pakis. For the record I agree with oz squad totally.
Because anyone who's watched him bowl in the last few years should know better Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk
