zen Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I guess there must be a few threads on this but w/ Ind winning the WC11, may be a time for a new thread: Tendulkar Gavaskar (for his record in later part of his career) Ganguly Dravid Sehwag (part time off spin) Yuvi (ability to bowl a few overs of spin, mos 2011wc) Dhoni Kapil Srinath Zak Kumble That's a balanced AT line up. The top 5 good enough to handle best bowlers from WI, aus, SA and pak. The 4 bowlers are pretty good too w/ srinath as the spearhead and kumble the main spinner. Part time spin options are decent. The lower order batting with yuvi, dhoni and Kapil is superb. I m not sure who the captain would be, may be Gavaskar or kumble
Mariyam Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 At 11, I was the best Indian. After I reached my 20s, I have been the best in the world ever. Don't know why you need a thread for it. :dontknow: Not really debatable.

Sooda Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Tendulkar Sehwag Ganguly (vc) Dravid Azharuddin Yuvraj Singh M S Dhoni © Kapil Dev A Kumble J Srinath Zaheer Khan
Ultimate_Game Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Tendulkar Sehwag Ganguly (vc) Dravid Azharuddin Yuvraj Singh M S Dhoni © Kapil Dev A Kumble J Srinath Zaheer Khan Good team but I will make 1 change... Replace Dravid with Gambhir. Dravid was great addition to the team when he used to keep wkts as in early 200s but with Dhoni in Dravid loses out. Plus Gambhir is a pretty good batsman and a great batsman against spin and at 4 will get to play in the middle overs against spinners.
BeautifulGame Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Sachin Ganguly Gambhir Dravid Yuvi Dhoni © Kapil Srinath Kumble Harbajan Zaheer

Sachin=GOD Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Have you seen Kapil play? I calculated his RPO (runs per ODI :P) and it quite good so I included him :winky:

zen Posted November 26, 2011 Author Posted November 26, 2011 Might as well do a quick test 11 Gavaskar Sehwag Dravid Tendulkar Laxman Mankad Kapil WK (kirmani/dhoni/eng/....) Srinath (/amarsingh) Zak (/nissar) Kumble / Parsanna / Chandra
akshayxyz Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Goddy Ganguly Dravid Azhar Yuvi M Kapil Bhajji Kumble Zaheer Srinath I will go with this. Sehwag is too risky in ODIs, Ganguly was better at his peak - rest are obvious choices. Azhar and Dravid are still replaceable though.
