The Realist Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Vinay Koomar or Sreesanth?.... :nervous:
Sachin=GOD Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Vinay Koomar or Sreesanth?.... :nervous: I'd say bring RP Singh.
Number Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011  In case Zak is injured....Ishant , Varun , Umesh.,, :nervous:
bajrang Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 good now both aron and umesh will bowl with ishant i guess.
VRV Singh Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 It will be Mithun. He is the standard go-to bowler if there are injuries. Replaced PK for these ODIs too. Whole episode is a massive goof-up all round. :hatsoff:
Ra.one Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Hope its irfan anyways he has done well down under.
saneindian Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 With Nehra playing Ranji Trophy matches now, will he be in contention as well?
Trichromatic Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 RP Singh, Irfan or Abu Nechim should be considered.
Pagalpanti Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 So we're 1 step ahead in Aus tour, injuries even before the actual tour has begun :P Next what? Zaheer ruled out too? PS: I hope they don't select the moron Sreesanth

rkt.india Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Irfan has been doing pretty well in the Domestic season. I don't know whether picking him would be a correct option but he's the only one who's fit and performing. Or, we might see some surprise name coming up/ Bhai..Irfan always does well in domestic but whenever he came back with good FC he did not deliver at international arena. We saw how he was bowling in Challenger trophy. He still has not changed his bowling technique and without that, I doubt he can hit consistent areas at around 130K pace. I am not talking about pace here. If he bowls 130, he will have to hit right areas, but he bowls now mainly in 120-125K range and even then errs in line and length. MS Gony also has bowled well this season.
saneindian Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Don't think they will go for a rookie bowler. Someone with international experience will have a chance. Had RPS got the desire to play for India, post the Eng tour, he would have worked hard on his fitness and shed some flab. Hasn't happened and he still is as fat as he was in England. But he has bowled a number of overs and has picked wickets as well.
rkt.india Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 With Nehra playing Ranji Trophy matches now' date=' will he be in contention as well?[/quote'] Dont think so.
cowboysfan Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 i am not a doctor but how can you fracture a rib by bowling? was he in a collision or something? ps-i am leaning towards gony too, cant see irfan being a factor again.

Dont worry....wait couple of days...& BCCI will announce that PK have some other kind of injury. elbow, chest, rib......high probability of next announcement being a groin injury :haha:
Sachin=GOD Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I think they will definitely go for an experienced bowler. We are already going with Varun, Umesh, Ojha and Ashwin - thats 4 new bowlers so experienced bowlers like RP Singh or Irfan may be in the reckoning.

I don't see both Irfan and RP. Vinay and Mithun are the possibilities.
Sachinism Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I would take Nehra over Irfan. Don't think Nehra has done anything wrong to be totally put aside
