lol good joke. abu ordinary? he opens bowling along with malliinga for mumbai indian, a multi million dollar club dont thinks he is ordinary.
Manpreet Gony is actually a very good prospect for the future, mate. He is 6'5, bowls at around 135 k regularly. Very hustling and bustling kind of action, a bit slingy as well. And the good thing is that he is taking lot of wickets as well this time. Earlier, it seemed liked he didn't know how to take wickets. But now he is turning into a complete bowler. Surely, if he will be given confidence and if he stays with the Indian team, he will improve a lot and will be bowling 140+ regularly

But, I have seen him bowling around 140 quite often in IPL, even this year as well when he was playing for Hyderabad. In domestic test matches, there is no-one who consistently bowls around 140. Even Umesh Yadav used to bowl at the same pace in domestic test matches as Manpreet Gony does? I mean he has the capability to bowl 140+, but in domestic test matches, all the bowlers cuts down their pace a bit.

It may take him a while to adapt to international cricket and by then he will be 30. Should groom a couple of players who are young to compete with Aaron and Yadav.

Your loyalty to crapthan and the other joker Kaif' date=' is well documented and touching:cantstop:[/quote']That really beats me in what people really see in a strokeless wonder like Kaif.

Sorry you must have done a typo. As you did a thread talking about FAST bolwers and then mention lollipop Crapthan!:((
But, he deserves his name to be mentioned here in this performance thread of top bowlers this season. I got to do that. He is the highest wicket-taker. I know he is only bowling at 118-123 k, which is just crap for int. cricket

Another guy who bowls at good speed -Pawan Suyal and he is left arm too. Unfortunately he is out for the rest of the Ranji season due to a freak knee injury. But he is only 22 and will be back soon. Rahul Shukla is back after a injury lay-off but is looking good now. Good to see Shami Ahmed get games for Bengal this year. Last year they played him in only one match and though he took 3 wickets' date= he didnt get another Ranji game. I think the board should shortlist 7 or 8 promising fast bowlers and then focus on their improvement. IPL teams seem to be doing a better job of promoting domestic talent.
Did you see Rahul Shukla bowling in a match? I am not sure if he is bowling very well right now after coming back from injury.

Though that is less touching. :P Its interesting how you dont (cant) argue with facts when facts are put up to support players who you have this inexplicable dislike for. Its just the usual abuse.

Another one i would like to watch out for is Mumbai's Dhaval Kulkarni. Impressive Ranji stats and from what i have heard from a close friend connected to mumbai cricket club has improved his speed by about 5mph by making a small change to his bowling action. Bowls in the 85mph zone now. Dhaval has been impressive with bat and ball. Has led Mumbai to ranji titles in the past 4 years. Even Zaheer was full of praise for him against Odisha....

I think he will be selected soon enough (in the next 2 years or so) and be about 24-25 by then. Was selected for NZ and did not play any matches. I think in another 2 years with some 50 first class matches under his belt he will be a good bowler. He has put on weight (he was skinny before) plus the bowling action change means he bowls most of the overs for Mumbai ranji team. I would say he bowls in the 130-135 zone on a consistent basis. With effort ball being about 138. But whats come leaps and bounds is his batting. (average of 55 with the bat this season)
