dont go by figures mate he bowled much better than mithun and swung the ball ..mithun is selected for test team where u gotta pick wickets and this guy was so ordinary didn't bowled 1 ball that would get international batsmen out thats why every one is going nuts

To be fair to Mithun' date=' he looked the best fast bowler during the Challenger Trophy, was hitting 135+ easily and bowled quite well. The issue with him seems to be of temperament, puts himself too much under pressure and then loses the plot, especially in ODIs.[/quote'] he was best bowler in challeger trophy because good players like abu was not given a chance...LOL

Mithun's action and landing is bad, he could be injured the way his right leg lands, he is neither front or or side on , the way he moves his trunk or twist's it , when in jump, he should pause hold his left arm lower and wait then with more side on aprroach he could use his shoulders and back to get more pace and bounce, at this moment , his jump, left arm, landing, not being more side on, and a collapsing left leg at delivery is causing him to loose pace and push it down the leg. I am sure with a good bowling coach , his approach at the crease and the pause before delivery with him being side on and his left arm being lower, will benefit him, with this he can use his back and left arm movement , and rigid left leg to catapault the delivery at higher speed, more bounce and not towards leg stump.

And Mithun gave the audience the most amount of fun and only because of him the crowd went back with a smile on their lips. Wouldn't have happened with Aaron :P

He is from Bengal too. Perfect. Pick him. Korbo Lorbo :D
Bengal players don't get picked anymore. :(( Saha, Tiwary, Dinda no one's got a long rope. And each of them has potential.

With Dalmiya at the helm , it will be hard to have players from Bengal, same for players from East Zone, week representation and relations with BCCI AND SELECTION PANEL.

If brief, his left arm goes to Kanyakumari and right arm goes to Darjeeling.

agree , not much right with his action ..thats where the coach comes into picture . When he I saw him first , i really thot he could be a good bowler in 1-2 years ..& now he looks worse . Hes only 22 , still has time to improve... though a lot needs to be changed.

Saha is a lot better than any other wicketkeeper in the country. You first have to give him some games to make a sweeping statement about him. Dinda is also way better than many of these trundlers who get game after game.

yeah, since he arrived,we havent found an able support for Zak,one series its Ishant, other Sree n so on... wen Venky was there atleast Ishant was beginning to look an able ally to Zak n even RP was showing up.Simmons hasnt had success for long with one guy. but then again, too much to expect from a guy who hasnt even played test cricket
