deathmonger Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 our bowling line up will be zak, ishant, umesh. but if zak breaks down (highly likely) do you think dhoni will give a chance to aaron or will he go for the more 'experienced' mithun?
Old guy Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 what dhoni will do only he knows but if u really wanna know wht whole india thinks go to twitter :P there is no doubt in my mind aaron should be ahead of him aaron is raw agreed but so is mithun its not like he is seasoned played who has played for india before and won matches ( i know he played but only 2-3 matches and was ineffective in all) aaron is pacier and movies the ball potentially a wicket taker and with experince he will get better and better just like yadav did mithun does nothing with ball just throws easy paced balls which dont move, seam, or bounce not test class imo

J P K Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 if aaron bowls well in practice match we might see him in the squad :P
Old guy Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 aaron will get game again in next match so its in his hands to outplay mithun and co and i think he will do fine even in his bad day he was much better than mithun on good days he can easily take 2-3 wickets
Old guy Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 both wont get a chance incase of injury... one of them will
BeautifulGame Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 If Dhoni preferred Mithun over Aaron then Aaron wouldnt have played in the WI tests or picked ahead of Mithun for Aus tour initially. And no one would have questioned why Aaron isnt selected considering his FC record. So the conspiracy theories are really laughable.
Needforspeed Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Aaron is definitely better than most Indian pacers...except we know that Dhoni is comfortable only keeping wickets to trudlers. So his favorites are all trudlers
Needforspeed Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 For Net practice Mithun is definitely better. He is as predictable as a bowling machine.:--D
rkt.india Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 For Net practice Mithun is definitely better. He is as predictable as a bowling machine.:--D But they cannot set higher speeds.
Needforspeed Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 But they cannot set higher speeds. :haha: True
MCcricket Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 At this point Mithun is mediocre Aussies have bowlers of this kind for breakfast, 132 k's, no swing , seam , straight up and down , lol Srikant should be ashamed of regionalism.Gony , Dinda, Ahmed anytime get s my vote over him, we cannot even compare him with Aaron let alone Umesh,I would even take Irfan or Pankaj singh ahead of him, I would even rate VK ahead of him lol.Even a wild card Anwar Ahmed would be a better choice as it would be a better investment for the future.
Viki_J Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 :haha: True :haha: Still Aaron shud be chosen !
Needforspeed Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 :haha: Still Aaron shud be chosen ! Mate I was joking!! Aaron is 100 times better than Mithun. No regionilism either as Aaron is also originally from Bangalore
Clarke Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 both wont get a chance Rather, both will get a chance. Zak's not quite a certainty & Ishant didn't really discover some magic potion to cure his ankle or whatever.
Old guy Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 ishant seemed fit he bowled many overs against west indies at brisk pace. would do well in australia not worried zak...now he is diff story if he plays 2 matches we are lucky
rajmarie Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 I am happy that Vinay Kumar is not in the team.
