Stuge Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I hope jinx works and he comes back right into form .We need that .
BeautifulGame Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Both Gambhir and Sehwag are returning from injury so its natural that they are scratchy.Even then its not like they are horribly out of form in west Indies series.Gambhir had a 90 run opening stand with in 1st inngs and 50 odd in 2nd innings. Also scored a 70 in second test. Both Sehwag and Gambhir are in good nick and getting starts. Its a matter of time before both go on to make big scores.
Hell Raiser Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 After Gambhir's marriage, he is not doing well. Maybe his off field performance is affecting his on field performance.
30markhanreturn Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 saha should be tried I Think Saha Should Play As Opener If At All Required By The Indian Team In Place Of Gauti....
CoolSach Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Cant believe someone took the efforts and pain to reply to this crap (incl me) :P

Needforspeed Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 After Gambhir's marriage, he is not doing well. Maybe his off field performance is affecting his on field performance. :haha: Maybe he is using onfield to get some rest
Magneto Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Gambhir got a couple of half centuries in the recently concluded Test series. So he's not completely out of form. He just looks very distracted, I wonder why :hmmm: I think the fact that he's not been given the captaincy in the absence of Dhoni has affected his morale. He was pretty much certain that he was the next captain in line.
saneindian Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Gambhir undergoes scan for back pain, report clear AHMEDABAD: India opener Gautam Gambhir on Monday underwent an MRI scan for back pain at a local hospital ahead of the third one-day international against the West Indies and the report has come out clear. "Gambhir complained of pain in the back. The Delhi and District Cricket Association had informed Apollo Hospital in Ahmedabad to do the scan," an informed source said on condition of anonymity. Gambhir, who went back to Delhi after playing in the second ODI against the West Indies at Vishakapatnam, had reached here late last night. The Delhi cricketer also underwent a scan of the skull that he had hurt while fielding during the Test series in England and suffered blurred vision for a while and eventually missed the subsequent ODI series. Gambhir was off the field on Monday for more than ten overs and was substituted by Ajinkya Rahane. India captain Virender Sehwag, however, said he was not aware that his teammate went for a scan. "But he played a match," he pointed out after the game. Even though the reports are clear, it doesn't sound good. Rest Gauti for the last 2 ODIs, would be disastrous if he aggravates his injury.

Rest Gauti for the last 2 ODIs, would be disastrous if he aggravates his injury. Yeah, not looking great for Gambhir. The effects of these injuries might explain why he hasn't looked completely on the ball lately.
Magneto Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Is this back pain related to his wedding by any chance? :hmmm: Medically, it's very much possible.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 the guy has had some really bad luck with injuries. might be a good idea for him to skip any remaining games. rahane is a more than capable replacement

Magneto Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I told you it's a personal matter, blown out of proportion by the media. Obviously, he didn't discuss that with Viru, who would anyway give him some strange, random, improbable, unpractisable advice.
