Sachin=GOD
HTC M8 review: It is considered poor form to begin a review with the conclusion, but there’s really no reason to drag this out: the HTC One (M8) is the best Android phone the world has ever seen. Period. Full stop. Of this, there is no doubt. In many ways, in fact, it is the best smartphone the world has ever seen. Old guy
Compared to Z2' date=' HTC One M8 gives the users a premium look and feel with metal body/dual front speakers :D[/quote'] Glass vs metal? Sony device looks awesome to me also it has water proofing and looks are subjective just remember Z2 will last longer cos of better batter, take pictures better and perform totally same Everyone was impressed by sony's new screen which has really wide color gamut without over saturation ...htc is still using slcd which is awesome but only area htc was best last year was speakers and screen and now screen is not a factor Z2 is hands down better device ..htc wasted so much space on bezels .. Sachin=GOD
A look at the Android world outside of Google’s control The dominance of Android in the smartphone market worldwide is still growing. Google continues to improve the platform. Manufacturers are producing a great range of devices. But the future doesn’t look rosy to everyone. Is there a storm on the horizon? Could forked versions of the platform spell disaster for Google? Is there a real danger it could lose control? According to ABI Research the platform accrued a 77% market share in Q4 of 2013 and it was on 78% of the nearly 1 billion smartphones that shipped during last year. To get to the juicy part of ABI’s research, the part that has been generating headlines, you have to dig a little deeper and examine the split between Google’s Android and the AOSP (Android Open Source Project). Taking a closer look at Q4 2013 we find that 25% of the market, or 71 million smartphones, were running forked versions of Android or AOSP. Google’s Android actually accounted for 52% of shipments. That 52% is not to be sniffed at, it compares to 18% for Apple’s iOS and 4% for Microsoft’s Windows Phone, but the 25% for AOSP is very significant. If we set Google’s Android aside with its 52% then we find that AOSP accounted for more shipments than the whole rest of the market put together. http://www.androidauthority.com/android-world-outside-googles-control-363762/ More and more forked versions of Android will be seen in days to come and that will surely test google more than iOS or Windows Phone IMO. Sachinism
My manager bought one the other day. Some cool features like this and being able to focus different areas of depth after taking a picture. I might need to have a play around with it at some point

Sachin=GOD
for people like us ..yep not really. Having used the N5 for some time now, I have realized one thing - whatever skins that Samsung/LG/Sony/HTC add on top of Android may be of some use to the average consumer but these devices can never, ever have the kind of snappy, smooth (or rather, buttery) experience of a Nexus. Sadly, for the average consumers these add ons (or bloatware) provides more value than a seamless, smooth performance. My nothing is best :yess: :giggle:

But both are very bad when it comes to update. My frnd got really pissed off when HTC said they wont give update for 1x. And Sony, they promised to give update for SP and now they say it's "under investigation"

My phone will also get sense 6 update:winky: Also most apps work on jelly bean and above and you do not really need update...all apps like even camera are on play store and get updated almost on weekly or monthly basis, even SMS app which is hangout, browser etc get updated from market it's totally different approach from apple who need to send firmware update to solve minor bugs
