Incredible! Proof of how overpriced are Samsung and Apple. Manufacturing cost of an Iphone 5 was around $210 then they add marketing plus research plus huge margin into the cost and it goes up to the market price. Apple gains a huge profit from a single Iphone, more than any company in the business.

Besides whats the point in buying a 80K phone when the specifications are matched by other phones and then it itself becomes outdated in a year? I think people are approaching mobiles as a sort of short term consumable (1 yr) than a long term investment and hence the likes of Xiaomi can really tap into this.

Realistic stat is because of this they are world number 5 smartphone oem and they came out of no where unlike other 4 Another realistic part is their phones sell out in 2 minutes withou advertisement expenses in India ..now add up selling phones t low margins and creating ecosystem and creating fans who will buy again who will by stuff from market it's better approach than getting more profit from less number of people and dissapear after few years Also this strategy is not new it was taught to me in school in class 11 ...another example can be reliance selling phones for 300rs few years ago...any one remember that?:--D

It's just an expensive show/off toy. Get nexus it's to me is still best option and I can buy it each year and it will still be less expensive than iphone

BTW must say this - the Note 4 is now a really complete phone in most aspects but its still really the same as Note 3.
