I am talking about the fundamental aspects of a phone. Bluetooth, face talk etc.. have all come a long way. Rest of the stuffs like gaming , camera, browsing, are the ones that are on the focus. Like in desktop they may never end. The chip makers will run the show for foreseeable future in those areas.

Yeah phone part is almost perfect but you still see better mice better notice cancellation and better sound quality ..it's just that u won't normally notice these things and also the focus is on other things like u said ... Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4

I'm sorry if u feel like ur talking to wall..like I said I don't have time to read it fully and I do understand what u are saying ..I was just correcting one thing that it is just browser performance and that does not only include hardware but iOS matters too BTW since u seem to be expert here won't it be easier on android to upgrade to 64 bit since apps are already ready and just minor update in android is needed to a support it ?

they need to change the whole ISA. It's not easy. Remember windows struggles with 64 bit? Apps are not ready... apps will run but they need to be designed to take advantage of the new memory subsystems. Android will need to make a LOT of changes to have it compatible for 64 bit across a whole band of devices when other chipmakers finally bring about the 64 bit transition next year. I they do it well...

Not really. Bluetooth - with bluetooth 4.0, you can now have low power devices that your phone can connect to. This came out very recently... for an example.. search for the tile app. talking - active noise cancelling, etc facetime- now we have facetime audio, once u use that you will realize how **** the audio quality on regular carriers is.. its like HD vs SD for audio. multipath tcp - the new iphone supports multipath TCP.. that means u can simultaneously be connected to your wifi router as well as your 3g connection.. for different uses.. u can use your 3g for whatsapp and your wifi for downloading etc.. Multi-wifi.. im waiting for the day when you can connect to different wifi networks at the same time.. so in case one drops, you can automatically switch to another.. or when your're moving from one corner to another.. or it can automatically decide which is faster and download etc... Lots of scope... i doubt we will find a day where we shall feel that we've saturated even the basic features.

i think changing os is easy for these companies .after all it has been done before what is hard is updating million apps..ios will probably have most apps in 64 bit when iphone 6 comes out:cantstop: but i read some where that android apps would not have same problem cos of environment they run in..(same reason they dont have problem with **** ton of different processors being used ) infact it will come real soon as hardware wise phones have reached limit with ram (3gb ) dont android apps run in virtual machine or something so updating them should be much easier..maybe they wont even need update:blink:

Are you saying you can't hear well what others talk on the other side? Come on how much more you can improve in that area. I worked on bluetooth 1.0 my very first project in USA . Bluetooth 1.0 was just released. I wrote DSP code to make connection between two laptops. Trust me the sound quality was not very different from what we have now. I am talking about very fundamental aspects. Do you really need HD audio to listen to what the other caller talks? Staying connected 24/7/365 and ability to connect to multiple wifis are highly user specific requirement. I keep my wifi and bluetooth off all the time so that i get more out of battery. They strategically add these things at regular intervals so that "phone enthusiasts" keep buying the the latest and greatest just to be in step with technology tossing out the perfectly working phone. Pager -> Cellphone -> Smart phone -> Smart watch?

Apples and oranges.. Difference between SD and HD technology at a TV level is humongous compared to the voice enhancement you can make in a phone. If you are talking about music i agree as there is various frequency range involved. For instance my sony walkman puts out audio something my iphone could never match. iphone 4 sound is clear enough in my bluetooth connected car. Never had issue with audio quality. Wonder if iphone 5s has made any enhancement in that area.

settings -> accessibility -> touch and hold delay. Try playing around with it and see if it helps.

No, but i know a lot of connoisseurs who are on it. I just use pot. But i am planning to make a switch and these connoisseurs have been hawking their products to me and have introduced me to walt's work and his product. I am leaning towards walt's product as of now. :two_thumbs_up:
