Old guy Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 What stuff is it exactly that you can get done quickly? everything from podcasts to reading books now a days i use pc less and less and go out lot more even icf for example ..first year i only used from laptop and it felt like too much waste but now i can check it anywhere and most importantly i like to follow news and trends and it was never more convenient honestly it helped me change lifestyle for better..frm being just guy who always stayed home when i was in school ,,now i go out lot more but i can still do things i love :secret:

I don't usually bother about those 'smart' features for eg., I rarely use maps or gps even though its in the car. I follow the sun , instincts or ask way to someone to navigate.

Just try to live with a simple phone for a month :dontknow: the phone companies are exploiting people's addiction to mint money. Having a smartphone has proven to be very useful. I also like to follow a lot of news from around the world, especially from politics and tech - I don't have to be limited to the laptop for that. And I like to read loooong articles - again, quite useful because the N5 has a big screen. And with Google Drive, Google Sheets, Quick Office and Office Suite etc, even editing documents etc can be done on the phone. The only thing I don't do (or I can say I rarely do) is watching videos - I find the screen too small for that. I use it to control my mom's Android :P quite useful :two_thumbs_up: :poink:

I follow the sun , instincts or ask way to someone to navigate.[/quote'] even i do not use social networks on smartphone but lets say one of my biggest obsession is cricket ..now i can watch it on phone and comment on icf from it and i have set up google now to give me score updates automatically and i get all the schedule without even asking this is jsut one example ..most people actually do not need these smartphones ..all they need is big screen for media consumption and few basic apps for chatting and photo sharing etc
