Well wouldn't ideally mind if they do it, might give the shake India always requires at start of a series. But given our bowlers track record with injuries. Hope we bat first, bat 1.5 days and give bowlers some overs on 2nd day. 2 day match, what a joke.

I think Zaheer landed up only yesterday with Sehwag etc. Maybe play in the next game
 Mumbai's Ranji game ended on the 9th, couldn't he have been flown to Australia earlier? The players have arrived in batches, anyway. One of the most important things of these games was to get Zak some more match practice but they have ****ed things up as usual.

i am getting a deja vu' date='this is going exactly like the england tour.[/quote'] And what a contrast it is from how England approached the Ashes. Last year, England arrived a month before the first Ashes Test, played three proper FC games and they had their performance squad players (the 'A' team) in Australia so that in case of injuries, the replacements were already acclimatized to Australian conditions. India's preparation and planning is laughable compared to that.

CA site says "Note India are playing 13 but only batting and bowling 11". Does that mean, when India bats, some of the guys bowling will be replaced by Batsmen? This game does'nt qualify as a FC game I think.

That's right, only the second warm-up is an FC game
