That is the only reason he got his initial chances in just for laughs festival in montreal. Otherwise, Russell peters is a comedy club performer (at best). BULLSHYTE. He was top 10 highest earning comedian couple of years ago in north america, filling all kinds of venues to capacity.

For an Indian born of immigrant parents to take the comedy world by storm like he did and be considered one of the top comedians of North America right now is a mind-boggling achievement. Some of you may find his jokes growing stale. There's a reason for that - Its because he is ridiculously famous and we watch so much of him. If you watched his latest DVD, not having watched any of his previous work, I can guarantee that your stomach will hurt from incessant laughter. Our familiarity of him, is not his problem, its ours. Not many in North America have helped bring out the Indian culture, language, tradition and life-style and helped main-stream it as much as he has. And if you feel 'insulted' by his jokes, I am sorry, you have some significant humor issues. I have watched all his videos a 1000 times and I still find him impossibly funny. You go Russell!

If steve jobs has taught us anything, its that the public/market is stupid. More often than not, they need to be told what they should like and dislike.

He makes fun of everyone. It seems Chinese jokes and black jokes were more harsh than the Indian ones and there was no racial angle to it IMO. He was balancing it well. lEiGsUw5wYE

Hari looks ok but would need to check more to judge. But this Aziz just sucks in comedy dude. The first video I pulled up in youtube came of collegehumor and that is perhaps the worst comedy video I have ever seen. In Russel Peters videos, I was not able to stop laughing throughout the videos whereas in case of Aziz I could not find anywhere in the video where I could laugh. How the feck can this guy be called a comedian. Here is the video I am referring about. This is pathetic attempt at being funny. IIQHfDthOKU Aziz Ansari sucks,I agree too but just a refreshing change from Russell Peter's style of Comedy....Rusell peter's comedy is catered mostly towards white and maybe 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants...I would equate Rusell peter's comedy to some of those black/Hispanic comics who use Racial-sterotypes to gather a niche audience for themselves....George Lopez is one of the worst comics but thanks to the huge Latino population is pretty famous and rich:((
