I will take 5-8 innings of 90+ than one big 100 as long as we are winning..... But him scoring runs is very crucial.

This has become the trend in the last few weeks on ICF- Strong arguments from both sides (sachin fans and critics) have served to polarize opinion and lead to needless confrontation. It is what leads to such baiting threads. This is not a "you are with us or against us" situation. There is a huge section of fans which like/dont like Sachin without being either a hardcore fan or a critic. The more such arguments and threads arise, the more you push people to pick a side.

yup... its a well accepted fact that most times he scores a 100 its a draw... so basically if india has to win please somehow we have to stop him from getting a hundred.. p.s : just joking

In ODIs yep... i agree with such guys..off late most of his centuries haven't done justice to the team cause but in tests... its not a valid argument of whoever thinks so cause there are a lot of factors which decide the results of a game... anyweyyzz i hope he scores 200+ so that no one can claim anything

Can't read a full thread now please... but what i have seen recently even including the WC, in ODIs we havent won much when he has scored a century.... guess the trend started from 2003 WC when india won most games when he got out in the 90s...from 2004 he has about 12-13 centuries and india have won only 5 of them... BTW i would like a record like some of these below Kohli--- 8 centuries... 7 win Dhoni--- 7 centuries...6 win Yuvraj--- 13 centuries... 10 wins Ganguly...22 centuries... 18 wins.. And the big one... Sehwag... 15 centuries... 14 wins for INDIA...:yay:

I don't mean its because of him that India loses the match or something but somehow something goes wrong, maybe its a luck thing... i don't know.. but facts are for all to see... somehow off late its been bad... however if you check the stats for his ninetees i bet you will see most of those games we have won.... so its kinda safe to assume when he scores India does well just that if he gets to 100 the luck changes there... sad for us

Just checked the stats for his 90s... india has won 10 out of the 12 ninetees he got in ODIs since 2003... as i said we do pretty well when he does get out in 90s... just some numerology crap going against him i guess...
