Raghav_12 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Anybody has any clue that what has actually happened to Ishant? It just sucks to think that we have had this high profile tour planned for so long, all kinda preparation going on for months, and then our second best bowler breaks down just after 5.3 overs. If fast bowlers keep brreaking down like this, soon all teams will agree on use of bowling machines in matches. Atleast then they would be able to make some plans for matches ahead.
Stuge Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 dammit !! before the leaving for australia he was like I don't need operation and now I'm fit .Now all this I'm hearing .WTH
peterparker Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 only indian bowlers injured..not others..
peterparker Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 there is one ishant hater here right..he has cursed him..now both santh n pissant out...next is zak..then yadav, then finally trundlers would be ruling..and then all indian bowlers will be bowling like karsan ghavari only
Lord Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 was gonna happen.Ishant gave himself the clean chit that he doesnt need surgery.n the idiot selectors took hs word for it I'd much rather VK bowling in 1st test than Ishant bowling few overs n breaking down
rkt.india Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Sharma was forced from Manuka Oval twice in the opening session, and hasn’t made it back after failing to complete his sixth over. Mystery still surrounds exactly what, if anything, is wrong with Sharma, but either way the Indian camp doesn’t appear to be particularly worried about the health of one of their front-line quicks. The Indian team manager said the reason why Sharma was forced to abandon an over was because strapping on his ankle had come loose. He insisted the reason the 23-year-old still hadn’t returned is because he was only slated to bowl six overs in the first of two practice matches for the Indians in Canberra. The team’s media manager said there was no injury. Another member of the support staff said the quick's interrupted day had more to do with the team’s hectic last 24 hours - they arrived in Canberra after 3am on Wednesday and attended the Sir Donald Bradman Oration function that evening. Lord Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Australian bowlers causalty ward would have as many beds as Indian, if not more. Harris, Cummins, Johnson .. First three choices.. Harris is fit no
saneindian Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 They said the same thing about Zaheer when he didnt bowl in the 2nd innings of the practice tie in England. He doesn't have injury, doesnt want to show all his tricks to Strauss and all that crap.
BeautifulGame Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Whats this nonsense of Ishant hiding his injury.Didnt he prove his fitness by bowling long spells in the WI series. How else can he prove his fitness.Seriously what more can he do to prove his fitness. If he is injured again in the practise match its just bad luck. But accusing him of hiding his injury when he already proved his fitness is just daftness.
Old guy Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 he isnt injured like rkt posted his strapping on ankle came lose..after tht he just didn't bowled.. cos it wasnt the plan to bowl many overs.same with yadav only bowled 11 overs till now
TheWall Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 At this rate India will field only spinners on Boxing Day....
rkt.india Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 They said the same thing about Zaheer when he didnt bowl in the 2nd innings of the practice tie in England. He doesn't have injury' date=' doesnt want to show all his tricks to Strauss and all that crap.[/quote'] yes..not trustworthy really.
Old guy Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 but how can he be injured all of sudden? :\ bowling in 3 full test matches.. he was match fit zaheer on the other hand was totally out of practice
Pagalpanti Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 well it isnt confirmed it was probably not serious.. thats why he came back once but maybe dont wanna chance it>? Well will he chance it in a test match then? which will affect India big time.
CoverDrive Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 So if Ishant breaks down who will replace him Mithun or Vinay Kumar, maybe even both (If Zaheer khan gets injured )
chainsmoker Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I think he saw katrina kaif in the crowd :cantstop:
CoverDrive Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 I would definitely go with both Ojha and AShwin then pick your best 4 bowlers.
