The fact that you think Hussey's dismissal was 50/50 to me shows that you are incredibly bias.
I think you misunderstood my statement. What I meant to say was that when I saw it the first time (they were showing the wickets package in the post game show) my first impression was that it was 50-50. From the second replay onwards I knew he was not out and that is why I said India got one lucky break.

All three decisions were genuine umpiring mistakes which should have been overturned because of the DRS. In Hussey's case there was swing after the ball passed the bat, Cowan's decision looked out in realtime and there was also a sound. Haddin's wrong decision was because of where the ball pitched and the ump might have thought it was outside leg. Its time the system is implemented and should not be delayed further. However I see a lot of issues with Hawkeye which will eventually cast a doubt on the system itself. If everyone can trust an umpire to make a lbw call in realtime without any technology, then why cant a third umpire make the same call using replays without any predictive technology and if there is sufficient doubt, then let the on field call stay.

but why cant we give Hawk eye more chances...let them implement this for say a year or two..collect the data then try to improve that or reject it.. but for Gods sake do somehting...too much of whining from either sides wont be good ..only 3/4 good Test sides are there in the whole world

I think Cowan was out, heard the nick, it was faint nick and hot spot did not pick it up.. If there was DRS, that decision could easily have been reversed.

Did they show Snicko for Cowan? I dont remember seeing it on star but some others watching channel 9 saw it and said snicko didnt show anything either. If Snicko didnt show a peak, it is pretty difficult for the umpire to pick it up especially when there was no deflection

Issues in Hawkeye we have seen over the years. All these need to be resolved/standardized before Hawkeye can be a part of DRS. But these issues shouldnt stop DRS from being adopted, albeit without Hawkeye 1) Accuracy issues when the ball has a lot of distance to travel. The reason behind the 2.5 meter rule 2) Problems in predicting the path when there is very little distance between where the ball pitched and the impact on the pad. In these cases, it is obviously difficult to pick up the trajectory of a spinning ball since it could be going either way or straightening after pitching. for Seam bowling, atleast the previous trajectory can be relied upon. 3) Problem in calibration of DRS cameras- The Lyon lbw showed the ball pitching outside leg when it was pitching in line. This could have altered the result of the match and robbed Kiwis off a deserved victory. 4) Problem with Shadows on the pitch. this has been a problem before in Tennis, but we saw it today in cricket as well. You cannot have a wrong decision upheld because Hawkeye wouldnt work in certain situations. In a crucial time, it could alter the result of the match.

Cowan: When asked if he hit the ball, Cowan said, "I was disappointed to get out, it was a bit of a lazy shot ... You saw the replays, you saw my reaction, you can join the dots I guess. it was a clear nick. the umpire heard it, which is why he raised his finger almost immediately. as for hot spot, we've seen that it misses nicks so it's not entirely accurate. cowan can cry all he likes, but the reality is that he was aaaout.

Ya I was really surprised too. It looked out in real time. Also Cowan's reaction is very interesting, he doesnt say he hit/didnt hit the ball, just alluding that he missed it without actually saying so. They need to pull out snicko and settle this issue.
