Old guy Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 lol why man? only time he played in tough conditions he struggled really really badly.. in south africa tstobe was easily beating him on the other end kohli kept on hitting him and morkel from the middle of bat.. he is talented but unless he improved his technique he will struggle against quality bowling

rkt.india Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 BAYcK-ew4r8&feature=youtube_gdata_player Now we need to ask this "Are seniors good enough to survive?."
Singham Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 And I predict VVS will retire in disgrace. It's always best to retire while you still have the spark. 37 years old and still adamant. I will feel sorry for him. If u have predicted this already, Quote your comment like i did..:haha:
Andrew Peter Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Wah Wah Ab Yaha Madagascar se bhi fans aane shuru ho gaye. Cricket is growing fo sho .
Needforspeed Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Laxman has rubbished reports that he is thinking of retiring, he is planning to work on his technique with Fletcher....saw it on NDTV

achilles Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Laxman has apparently found no interest among IPL franchises as well. I heard he's lowered his base price from 4L to 3L. But I doubt he'll be picked.
Cricket Tragic Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Some real retards on this forum. Yeah, he's been terrible lately and you can be critical of that but give the chap some respect.
rabinjackman Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 He wont retire. He want to be unceremoniously kicked out. i sincerely hope that doesnt happen
singhprakash72 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Great player saved/won India a lot of tests ....but his time has come and he should gracefully retire (it was tragic to see him struggle today). He should be proud of his services to team India, people talk of SRT & RD but I doubt we will be able to replace VVS in near future ?
deathmonger Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 When should Laxman retire? With Dravid out, prolly Rohit will get a slot. Kohli has already taken Gangu's spot. When should Laxman retire. End of NZ series. End of Aus series at home? Should he stick around for the next away leg? Also who should take Laxman's spot? Rahane? Pujara?
saneindian Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Given his suspect fitness, ideally he should have been the first one to go, preferably after England series. Now that it hasn't and with no clear signs from VVS, most likely we will see him being dropped for the home series vs NZ, unless VVS quits on his own between now and August. Have heard rumors that VVS may get to play for Lancashire if the talks are fruitful.
