Seriously ' date=' you want her to get abused here ?[/quote'] Shes 4th seed, Murray can beat Federer even though hes usually ****. So Saini has a decent chance. She has the ability and is in form, I agree with Cricketer no need to be happy with 4th (unless huge under dog) Who cares if you came 4th? At least until next time. Great athlete's earn respect. Im confident Saini will get at least bronze. She's good under pressure. She was No.3 meaning she was higher ranked than atleast 2 of the top 4 Chinese.

what does that mean?? why ??
if people expect her to win Gold but she doesn't then many people here will call her names. Right now she is an underdog so if she wins its great but if she doesn't even then people will say that she tried hard and fought valiantly.

Vijender in Round of 16 later today. Great gold medal hope for india  His opponent started well but Vijender was No.1 in this division so he's favorite this fight. Hopefully Vijender, Mary Kom and the World champion wrestler will take golds. Gagan not favorite but can add a silver or broze along with Saini. Looking good

People just forget until next time (rightfully so). Athlete's need to earn respect. Name calling is for our Cricketers :--D Imagine if they were knocked out in QF's of WC. Death threat's, burning pictures and abuse. Olympians have it better.

Really?? just go back 2 days - when Bhupati (a guy who has won multiple grand slams for India) lost in the doubles what was the reaction of the people on ICF?

Saina plays a lot more smaller tournaments , while the Chinese pick and choose ..thats the reason why her ranking was no3 at one point . IIRC shes beaten the top 4 chinese players not more than 5-6 ( so its not impossibel )times i total . infact the players whos not in the squad is the one Saina has a had relative sucess . Lets just keep realestic here . Will be the happiest if she gets gold though

I was just watching table tennis gold medal match where it was all Chinese affair. Chinese crowd was muted as they might have been in a dilemma who to root for, they have so many fricking all chinese affairs in so many sports. In contrast during Saina's match our crowd was in full effect as we have so few to cheer for.
